Do you still need one

I'm pretty sure they have the small section.

Bugger. Polite clapping it is then.

For those in RRE lets really crank it up. Usually a better atmosphere when in small section. Cheer whoever wears the shirt.

I'd go for the broad blue and white bands or Ajax style again. My vote for next away kit is the original Oldham kit, similar to Athletico Madrid.

I applaud the intiative although the Facebook thread about whether fans liked the Hartlepool prices had me thinking we were going to get the same or similar deal! I wish the 16-19 yr old bracket had also been reduced. Would save me a few quid for my son's ticket - then again he's kind of lost interest recently. Wonder why?! So maybe I won't renew his......

Cheers. Beats ' Ask Jeeves'!

Looking on TV, it appears that there isn't any segregation with areas where both sets of fans sit together. Is this the case? Happens a lot in non-league but just interested to know how Fulham do it.
-
My 17 yr old has lost interest lately and to be honest I can't afford to get him one next season. Money is tight so any initiative welcome.

I'd been chatting to my mate about the good old days in the Lookers but I was proud to be in the RRE today.
Ah. Those were the days. Going mental when Vernon scored against City, winding up many an oppo full back, loving Eyres's tricks, just singing. Today brought it all back. Sniff.

Went to a game last season and fans demonstrating against owner. Apparently not a very patient woman who was threatening to withhold player payments even though 2nd and more or less sure Of promotion. Lost a couple Of games. Think there were some financial issues at start Of this season so team has done really well with loan players. Three sided ground as well, so Tics can feel at home!

I asked nicely if I could leave and as on my own the young copper let me out of the section. Keeping one section behind on what seemed to be because of standing and singing during match was never going to be met with quiet acceptance. Never agree with it anyway as just allows home fans to find places to wait Of they so wish. Only good thing about the day was the rag pudding before game. Oh and that volley.

Great to see them on tv and doing well. Followed them when I lived in Madrid in the 80's. Would love a pre-season game over there.

Wow...as good as Jim Bowie (who I believe actually played centre forward and in goal while at the Latics).
I remember playing Scrabble at his flat. Might have had a few more games if my Dad hadn't ruined it by running off with Big Jims wife!!

I often wonder how non-league play in decent kits. I sometimes go to see nearest local team Farsley, who play in all blue Nike. Guess they only buy a set of shirts though whereas we need a few in a season and need them supplied by sponsorship. Still rankles.

Add a 0 to tonight attendance for our following if we had got to Wembley. I'm happy with Dikov and some of the young lads. Tarky looks classy.

Must have been hiding in the trees behind RRE, before Oldham boys hung around there after game.....must be a good place for hide and seek!
-
All the best. Maybe have someone at RRE turnstiles to tell young uns plus others interested that might not have seen idea on here or website. Come on you Blue boys!

About 8 yrs ago u went to the derby in Vienna and went in away end with Rapid. Had a brilliant night. No idea what to sing but mad jumping a nd singing all night. Led by lads who oddly see none of the game.
I also lived in Madrid in the late 80's and mostly went to watch Rayo Vallecano. Must love small clubs! They had a smallish Ultras who made a real difference. Looking forward to this idea at NP taking off. Hope it attracts more young fans.
-
Ultras Azule.
Good luck. Those of us left in RRE - we can still sing. Might even sound a bit deeper than usual!

Told my lad this week that being a Tic more often than not feels like a penance not a joy! Emotional night on 30th. Can't wait!

The rarely-wrong Chron says:
Athletic were today hoping to complete paperwork which will see Simpson become a permanent Athletic signing up to the end of the current season. However, an agreement is understood to be in place that he can’t turn out at the Galpharm Stadium.
We'll really miss him on Saturday - just dont look as balanced without him, his link up play and excellent dead ball delivery. I'm tempted to save my money and the potential misery of trudging past joyous Tykes after the game! Typical fan's negative view eh.......

A Liverpool fan work colleague sent me a text to say the resulat flattered them, that we were excellent for 70 mins and our fans were excellent for 95 mins. It was strange walking back to the car after the game (through a very dark Stanley Park!) not feeling demoralised after a 5-1 defeat. Everyone associated with the club were superb.
I just hope we turn up in numbers and in as good a voice for both legs of the JPT final. I already know we will next week.

I'm going to park that way but walk down Priory Road after as Anfield Rd has a dodgy looking pub on it! I'm sure it'll be fine unless we win of course.......

Hmm, not quite the same demand as for Liverpool then! Popped over to get mine yesterday - wild drive across the pennines from Leeds. Hope it's worth it...

I totally understand why we had such a low turn out yesterday but I hadn't realised how awful we looked until I got home and watched (well, fast forwarded) the Sky coverage. Maybe being so spread out didn't help. A mate who was in the Kop sent me a text to ask if some coaches had got stuck.
Like the team we seemed jaded and only half heartedly made attempts to sign or cheer on the lads. I accept that I entered the ground with resignation that a defeat was on the cards and vow to try harder at the final few games (can't make Wycombe sadly). I also hate being sat so low down - no fecking idea what was going on in the couple of scrambles at the far eend in 1st half. Reminded me a of a goal we scored at Saltergate once when we only realised we'd scored when we noticed the players celebrating - seemd like at least 15 secs after the goal that we broke out into polite applause!
I know that if the team create chances, show passion and heaven forbid, score, that we will respond. But they are struggling and perhaps we need to be nore proactive and just enjoy the finale to the season, whatever happens. Being at a game, even these days, sure beats the summer Saturdays when the wife is suggesting things to do......
