Game off then again. Sounds like the club are not trying to get this match on whilst takeover is struggling over the line.

Club didn't seem to put much effort in making sure the last fixture was played

I think they should make the effort this time due to Leicester playing tonight and thus likely won't have the big money players in the squad tomorrow

They're probably gonna announce the takeover before (or at the same time) they announce the signings I imagine. If AL has put up the cash the make these signings possible he'll probably want people to know that, so it makes sense to have those signings be his first big contribution. Y'know have it as a bit of a fanfare announcement when he takes over.

That's what I'd do anyway, otherwise they could look like they were the old regime's doing.

I'd put them in right away so the football club I'm spending a few million on doesn't get relegated.

We all know it's not SC putting up the money for any signings we're going to make

What I want to know is does it come with two keys and full service history ? Are we interested in buying him or his friggin car ?

    surreal at times here ?

    Asking the important questions

But does it have the M sport package, the media package and/or the driver comfort package? Why are you selling it Jack? Have you been running it on premium fuel? It's only done 4k miles in the last year, howcome when the average mileage per year is 8k before? Has it been used as a taxi?

I only know of one players' wage, and average wages for the division until 2010, but it really is not hard to work out most players have lease cars.

If we're speculating its doubtful he would keep a car on lease thats 4+ years old

Back to facts, his tax is due on February 1st, his MOT expires on 28th May and on his last MOT it had done 36720 miles

    Easy this management malarky.....

Create a new manager, take control of Barca and send Messi on a free, maybe a few of their other players but I'm not sure they're better than what we've already got

I'm seeing a lot of this "let's not get carried away" of late..

    Why not? Serious question...

Over the last 20 years we've had little spells of a few or several weeks here & there where we've had something to get carried away about and I've got as carried away as I possibly could during all of them and don't intend to stop doing so....

Yes, we are playing good football and it's enjoyable to go to BP for the first time in a long time BUT we are still 6 points from relegation and 9 points from the playoffs, a hell of a turn around from where we were but still a long way to go.

We deserved 3 points from Wimbledon and Gillingham but didn't take our chances. I expected us to get a result at Southend but that didn't happen. It just shows how fickle football/this league can be and that any team can beat any other and throw the form book out the window.

Adding more uncertainty to an already unpredictable situation is that we don't know what players or owners we are going to have in January. What you say about the last 20 years is why people aren't getting carried away, I'll hold off dreaming until Feburary/March.

For now I'll just enjoy the football, enjoy not worrying about relegation and enjoy the fact that hope still remains.

There's no fucking winners in the latest borefest though, can't you just message each other directly and save the rest of us the pain it really is tedious.

It's more cringeworthy than watching Balotelli trying to put a training bib on

In other news Andy Perimeter West's word of the week seems to be "Hollywood"

    Anyway back to football....
