  1. Who cares? They neglected their gaff...spent their money...moved out for builders...now they are parasites at BP....wanting a free ride and they wail if they dont get it.

get rid..they could play on waterhead park for the crowds they get......they could become a feeder club for saddleworth rangers....

and this fiasco with hamilton and the other pillock....give me strength.

I would have thought that the council wil have stipulated they have to share the ground if they release the area to build on.....and remember there are loyal fans who have been following them for years just like latics fans who would be gutted if they folded...have some heart and think about if it was us in their position. Brain before mouth.

  2. Sue I am afraid we need a new smiley for that, not even Titanic is suitable, it's positively Adam and Eve.

    Gray is the Asst Mgr.

This news was even in the regularly-very-behind-Chron 4 days ago.

And yesterday at 4.52 and a bit it was confirmed Tommy Wright was leaving.

    SORRY it is early though......

  3. Let's just take the facts - for two weeks now JS has stood on the side line and shown no passion for what's happening on the pitch - end of the road I am afraid - even if you had a poor team passion/motivation can get you through in life but without even the best of people fail.

  4. same old bunch of morons who no f-all about football barack our manager from the stand

happend under frizzel ,royle, sharp, warnock, ritchie, etc etc and will carry on happening just wish they would put as much effort into supporting the team or if they have to be negative be negative to the opposition !!!!

All I can say not one word of encouragement from John all the match with hands in pocket.... no one could expect to motivate a team like that.

  5. Once again, nothing new said here. Lots of people were satisfied with the effort, some of us understand the difference between effort and quality. If effort won titles we'd have 11 Paul Warnes on the teamsheet. As I said earlier in the thread it was some very average play that was the problem, i.e. inconsistency. I think Shez has mentioned that once or twice before.

So your only other bright idea is for him to sit in the stands, listen to the arseholes and then his opinion may change? Oh and you think, or it seems (really convincing words for the basis of a dismissal) that he has lost the dressing room and bullies the kids? I'd love you and your half witted mates on here to be witnesses at an employment tribunal.

Corney is a busineesman, leave the hiring and firing to him. Meanwhile I think it's the number 24 bus from Royton to Manchester for you, If the driver goes down a passionless route and you're not happy with his performance then get him booted off in Failsworth before he's completed his journey. I hope the irony of the analagy isn't too much for you.

Again another case of only your opinion counts...makes for a good message board....well done and in the words of Shez....What a muppet!

  6. Oh for goodness sake get a bloody grip! He's had a pop again at a few people, probably spouting :censored:e to him again near the bench. I like his passion. This is his team, what would a new manager do now at the end of January?

Yes there have been mistakes, I've got annoyed with his substitutions, but it's all subjective. So please keep some context.

Once and for all will all the Shez out brigade please either shut up or bugger off down the road to join the premier league plastic know :censored: all fans who think they are so bleedin special.

    Rant over.

Sorry Shez has lost the plot - must have - no one could have been happy with the overall perfomance today and for him to say he was impressed with the effort then if that was effort we have not got much to look forward too!

He say's the fans must have been watching another game - he must be watching it with rose coloured glasses - no matter how passionate I am about the team, today was dire and not worth getting cold for. Shez needs to sit in the crowd with the fans and watch the match from a different angle.

He also seems to only give it out to some of the younger players a bit like a bully - altho today he did gave it to Hughesey but he gave it straight back with not an ounce of respect - what does that say? has he got control of the players or not because if a member of my staff spoke to me in the way Hughsey spoke to Shez he would have been subbed immediately - you cannot have your staff speaking to you in that manner no matter who they are.....

So give everyone a break - dont tell them to go down the road because many will be soon and then were would we be - even less fans and another prolem for the owners.....you ahve to accept everyone is entitled to the view and their opinion and this message board is exactly what that is for.

    My rant now over!

  7. Did anyone else think our substitutions were the main "wrong options" yesterday, should we not have taken Gregan off earlier as he was clearly not with us - then when he was injured we put on another defender when it was crying out for another striker. I felt that game was always there for the taking if we had put another striker on and given him 20 -30 mins - so although I support Shez and Tommy and I am no expert they appeared to get it totally wrong yesterday.

  8. I know many on here have no time for Liddle - but again yesterday he gave his all and his experience in the game and assistance to the younger lads proved he is worthy of his position still. Thought the team looked like a team yesterday! a team of guys who worked for each other...great to see.]

  9. Working on the basis of we need change, please nominate candidates who are available, realistic and would see OAFC as a step forward.

Excluding Ritchie I can't think of anybody, but I remain very interested as to your shortlist.

I dont think he needs to go I just think he needs someone more experienced to help him out...someone who knows how to man manage and can help him become a top manager

  10. Well done for turning a Shez positive into a Shez negative......I expected someone to do it but I couldnt think how they might!

You should consider maybe Shez wasnt :censored: the players because they were playing very well for a change. Also consider maybe they looked comfortable due to leading from the 7th minute. Finally consider the main reason for this was the team selection, in particular Jarrets change of role.

Go on whinge Shez didnt do it sooner......

If you dont sit near Shez - you wont know what I am talking about - he NEVER gives them any encouragement at all during a game and has not for most of the season (and some of our younger players have needed it) - even people who have moved over to the paddock recently has said they never knew just how bad he was.

Encouragement is always necessary albeit some times they dont warrant it.....but hey if Shez is so rosy in your eyes who am I to disillusion you.

I'm not saying there is anything wrong with Shez other than the point I was making....would you go to work if your boss spent all his day slagging you off ?

  11. Shez is turning into the biggest moaner in BP think the fans are just following suit... Would anyone agree that shez spends to much time moaning either moaning at players, fans, games we should of won etc etc....

Get on with your Job fella, you could be a great manager just focus on the job in hand and sod everyone else whilst there are still the majority of fans backing you!

Totally agree, he gives nothing but abuse all games to the players - if I worked for someone like him he would never get the best out of me - just a bit of encouragment which Tommy Wright managed at the Hudds match goes a long way - Shez needs to look closer to home for the moaners at the match.

  12. Jarret up front. Best performance from a Latics player for some time.........sign him up!

I think and it's not nice to say - Shez's masterstorke today was staying away from the side of the pitch - the players get so much slagging off and no encouragemens when he is there....great performance today and plenty of encouragement from Tommy Wright.
