West Ham have a penalty!
Edit: Penalty scored by Stanislas West Ham 2-1 Millwall and West Ham fans are on the pitch again. 50 or so accoriding to the BBC.
-
They hadn't forgotten the 6-0 when they were planning the 1-0...
Aaron Smith from Hemel Hempstead, who was at the game, said: "I saw one man cornered by at least a dozen Millwall fans before kick-off. Terrifying scenes."
Eyewitness Fergal O'Brien said: "I saw a west ham fan getting punched in the face by a burly bald man who had a coin between his fists."
Another fan said: "I was in a throng walking up and a group of hooligans came for us.
"The police wanted to help but they were clearly afraid to use force. I am still shaking. I thought I was going to die."
Meanwhile Ben Newton, from Harrow, north London, said his father had been stretchered away after being hit with a dart to the head.
And a Millwall fan told the BBC: "It was like a war zone outside the stadium. There was fighting all round.
"I brought my kids with me tonight and they've seen some violence that is indescribable."

lol, sounds like a right laugh. It's a just a shame it doesn't stop at a few people running on the pitch, we've already heard of one stabbing and i fear there will be more.
6 mins added time.

listenin to it on the radio now, sounds like absolute carnage

West Ham 1-1 Millwall
Stanislas goal

Apparently its all going off inside now, i am listening to the commentary and they are all rushing the front.
EDIT: Sound like the stewards aren't taking any crap, one steward has just tackles a Millwall fan lol.

I've heard theres already been alot of trouble outside the ground.
In the ground Millwall lead 1-0 at halftime.
On a further note, this thread sums Millwall fans up to me, WARNING STRONG LANGUAGE - Scum!

It's going to be 201 days since our last home win IF we beat Hartlepool on 4th September. Great record to have eh!
We've got Accrington Stanley before then haven't we?
-
Not for the first time no comments from the Latics manager the evening after a game, yet Danny Wilson has given an interview for the Swindon website.
I will feel let down if Penny doesn't come out and say something at least.

Purdie and Holdsworth can play CB
Anybody is worth a try, i just don't feel comfortable with the two we have at the moment.

I assumed they'd done homework on the free kick taker and "knew" he wouldn't shoot, otherwise why leave the gaping holes either side of the wall?
As for the 2nd - complete balls up by hazell, brill might have done better but can't attach any blame to him on a 1 on 1.
Credit to Blackman (good going forward, covered his man at the back on set pieces), :censored: - worked hard and played well, Abbott (although needs to get his shot away a bit quicker)
I thought Brill should have saved the second one, the hands he got to the ball were very weak and i have no confidence in him at all.
At the end of the day it was a decent free kick and a balls up by Hazell that cost us 2 points today, we played some decent stuff and look like we have developed a lot since the Stockport game.
Well done to Blackman today as well!

All you have to do is replace the Oldham at the end after the = with another clubs name

I searched the link on google to try and get translation and the three searches that came up are saying similiar.
Beckford to Benfica
Eagles to Benfica
Negrado to Benfica

That was IMHO about as poorly as Tam has played for us,but he wasn't alone in being off the pace today.
I never enjoy losing but getting beaten by a poor side like Oldham is really dissapointing, awful game with only two efforts apeice on target and losing 2-1 is very poor indeed.
Hope we don't get that referee again either he was so weak it was unbelievable the number of elbows that went this afternoon was unreal, rather than call the captains together he should have had the balls to get his red card out.
Lots of improving to do before Tuesday to get a result vs Charlton.
harry i don't think oldham were a poor side.they played it simple and we got outfoxedMr-B We'll have to agree to disagree - they created two chances all game, and showed vey little going forward, they killed the flow of the game but I agree imposed themselves on us and were well organised. They will get found out by better sides than us - unfortunately we were awful yesterday.
We gave Gregan an easy ride yesterday by humping the ball forward in the air, no through balls on the deck or creativity a very bad performance by almost everyone.
I honestly can't see them doing well this season

Sounds like great support mate. Pleased for everyone that went. There's nothing better than an away game with great support and a victory to top it off. But 279 is poor. Simple.
What do you expect, in the space of 7 days we have played/will play Carlisle, Orient and Millwall. I went to Carlisle on Tuesday and just didn't have the money to go today or to Millwall on Tuesday.

I saw a shirt(or maybe scarf) hanging up in restaurant in Florida.

As has been stated earlier by others Byfield is a much better back up option to Pav and Kiegan than Lewis or O'Grady!
Didn't do much wrong from where I was sat, perhaps he is the new boo boy now Eards has gone!
I will back him up as long as he is here, but then again i don't like writing any player off.
You only have to look at the job he did at Bristol to know he is a top player when fit and in form.
-
I said as soon as he left he would be the top scorer in that league this year. He seemed to cause a lot of disruption towards the end of last year, but he's a cracking player none the less.
-
I think that's a fair report.
I thought Whittaker did very well out wide when he came on and i agree with the post above, Holdsworth is definitely not a winger.
-
Honestly, I Dont Know What Any Of You Saw In That Preformance Today Apart From The Over Head Kick Which Was His Only Decent Bit Of Play. He Would Not Have A Run With The Ball, Always Looked For The Pass (Which Never Went To A Player In Blue!). Would Much Rather Have Ben Burgess Back!
Please Stop Starting Every Word With A Capital Letter.
Didn't think Byfield did anything wrong today myself.

2-2 Pawel Abbot, Furman shot, keepers mistake and Abbot headed in.
-
1-2 Blackpool, Southern header.
