I went for Clarke for the same reason.

My thoughts are with you and your family Prozac.  My dad died on his way home from the Latics in Sep 2001.  It was just after we had beaten Bury 4:0 and unfortunately I wasn't with him that night as I was away with the RAF.  Every game I go to I look a where we used to sit in the main stand lower and feel both sad and happy.  Sad as I miss him every second of every day, but happy remembering all the times we shared together through the Latics.

I've just renewed my 2 season tickets online.  I tried calling the ticket office but the phones just rang and rang or the line was busy.  By the way, the on-line renewal was so easy and only took a couple of minutes at most. 

Wondering whether to boycott this one seeing as we are selling our soul for the sake of £72,000.

Like we can afford to give up that kind of money and even if we could, who are we to deny that income to Lincoln City?

It's the Lincoln Christmas Market thst weekend.

It's only 2 hours by car. I do that for each home game. Get down here to a great city and cheer us into the 3rd round.

8 and 1/2 hours total on the train, 4 changes, £70, decent price, just fraught with potential :censored: ups by Network Rail, cross country etc etc....so I'll wait for Arsenal away in the 3rd round...

Again not Latics related but I went to watch Lincoln v Trannies in the replay last night (4th qualifying round). The Trannies were woeful, I almost felt sorry for them they were that bad (they also had their goalkeeper sent off after 30 minutes for deliberate handball outside the box). But then I remembered the last minute penalty they got against us at BP a few years back and thought "stuff 'em". Lincoln won 2:0.

Forest away around 2007, Tuesday night game and we took around 200. Gotta be up there as one of the best pound for pound.

I remember the stewards going crazy as they tried to get us sit down. The head steward was so red in the face I thought he was going to have a heart attack or something.

Bradford game on Saturday, Bradford had a goal kick and 2 people behind me were screaming that 2 of their players were offside. I explained that Law 11 states that you cannot be offside from a goal kick. Several people around me had never heard of this and didn't believe me. Are other people on here aware of this? The extract from Law 11 is attached below:

• a goal kick

• a throw-in

• a corner kick

Three of us who live in Lincoln couldn't go tonight (2 of us are season ticket holders) as I didn't finish work until 17:30. We'll be there on Saturday though. I just wish those that live close to Oldham would put in the effort to get to games
