  1. We are a young side who will be inconsistent,I predicted us finishing about 10th.Would have a fully fit Gregan in the side but not if he isnt 100%,would give Tounkare and Feeney time to gel though couldnt understand Bembo being left out the last few games.Lets get back to winning ways next week although I wont see it as Im away but will am confident we will bounce back from today.

  2. The man is a liability.I was in the suite afterwards when Sheehan came up and he basically said that Brill should have done better.Could also play against us next week as his loan wont be extended if at all until after the cup game.No one had a good game today, match spoilt by the conditions.

  3. There is no way I would be picking Kabba over Lewis as striker, cant believe we have consistently picked ageing journeymen strikers over one of our own with real potential.Young players are inconsistent but you have to stick with them, fully believe we would still be in with a chance of playoffs if Shez had stuck with Lewis and Hughes as our front two.Guess there must be something with his attitude etc, although there are one or two of our other players who have had there own problems and are still picked often enough.Roll on next season,I will still be back in August full of optimism.

  4. Good post mate glad to see some optimism.Im not to sure that we will be in the playoffs but am pretty certain that Joe will be here next season with a side that will challenge up at the top.Kabba has scored goals at a higher level and may benefit from playing up front with Smalley or Allesandra and Joe maybe looking at him with a view to next season.

  5. In the season we reached the playoffs under Shez Stam started the campaign in the team alongside Haining and was arguably our best player until he got injured and Gregan was brought in on loan to cover for him.Given a run of games and the confidence of the manager and coaches Stam is a solid defender and well worth his place in the side.As mentioned there are quite a few players playing for there futures now, lets hope that will be reflected in there coming performances and we see a better run of results.

  6. In January there was relief on here that we had kept our squad together and actually added to it.Fast forward two months and weve imploded, letting our top scorer go with a handful of games to go doesnt make much sense but I guess we have to trust Joe although it would appear weve pretty much resigned ourselves to another season in league one.

  7. I first when to BP in 86 and consider myself lucky to have been part of the ride under Big Joe.He was a fantastic man manager whose teams played good attacking football with quality service from the wide areas(Adams,Holden,Halle,Barlow,Irwin).I am shocked at Joe coming back but cant wait as Ive also winged a ticket for the directors box and players lounge so am hoping I might bump into the great man again. Also would like to take this opportunity to thank Shez for all he has done both as player and manager.

  8. Thought he cocked up with his substitutions again tho.. There were a lot of tired legs out there and a few fresh ones with 10 mins left could have been the difference between 1 and 3 points. Not that i'm dissapointed, just think he misses out with subs sometimes..... Still buzzing tho, hope that performance lifts them for the run-in now.

Agree with that,I like Shez as a manager but my only criticism is that he makes changes after the event,he seems to be a reactive boss as opposed to a proactive one.
