It was also mentioned about a welfare fund the club has set up to look after players, some of whom are living away from home, and not not mixing in society. hopefully it will bring out the character of the players mainly the younger ones. and hopefully they will take this onto the field. Also they are looking for sponsors for the welfare fund, or any ideas anyone has to raise funds.

It Was a really interesting afternoon, a great insight to some of what does go on in the back ground at the club. it does make you think ahh thats why a certain decision was taken. Barry may have spoken a lot but he did make a lot of sense

That is the biggest problem Zorro being one of the old farts and not really a silver surfer I don't know enough, I think the browser is explorer, and I can get on to the beginning where it says who is on, then it says it is loading but a message comes up that says it cannot load due to a long standing script

Hi guys was at the meet the manager today. I was the guy in the pink shirt looking like a pig and sweating like one boy it was warm in there. To be fair to everyone they have pretty much summed it up very well. But LJ did ask for not too much to be said on here as other clubs do look at our forum. Barry and Rik did say they would organize another meet the manager and Lee said he would try and make it before xmas. But i will say this I have been supporting Latics 49 years now and there are are fans who have supported them longer but this is probably the most optimistic I have felt bar a couple of seasons under JR

But just to let you know i have emailed Alan Hardy about season ticket holders wanting to pay the £2 on Tuesday and if it wouls cause a problem regarding the attendance figures. He has replied, saying that he has spoken to the accountant and it would not cause a problem as they have past hitsory to help them. he also thanked us all for our help and as always any donation (the £2 from season ticket holders) is greatfully recieved.
