Whittaker - bypassed, expected him to look more involved

My thoughts exactly, isn't he supposed to be a Gary Mac replacement in the same mould. That's not what I saw; I thought the game passed him by. However, Stephens seemed to me to be all action, box to box, and very tidy with the ball.
Also thought Stam's first touch looked rusty in the extreme.
As for whoever said Eardley wasn't troubled, I think I was at a different game from them!

I always have my oafc banner up in the chaddy every game, but this season i plan to replace it with a ernie tribute banner, anyone have any ideas of what to have on it? i like oafckev idea. i'm deffo gunna have a picture of ernie with RIP 1980 - 2008
Am I the first person to notice that we are likely to have some giant boards covering the demolished Lookers, which would usually have some sort of design on,
and also that a pictorial tribute to Ernie would be a great thing,
and then put two and two together and get.................

Anyone know how many up until last nights deadline?
Don't know the number but the nice lady at the ticket office said yesterday that, though trade had been steady, they'd been a bit disappointed with the level of uptake. That was at about midday yesterday.

It is definitely true.
I would put it on Wikipedia if I could be arsed to register.
And that will make it definitely true, cos everything on the Internet is true!

Bear in mind that, on another thread, lots of Latics fans are also saying that Gregan slipped. To my mind, as you say, he definitely stepped over the ball on purpose. Obviously different people see different things.......
