  2. Chron <_<

The 32-year-old striker has returned to his parent club Millwall after his loan was not renewed, despite Athletic being keen to get him back on board for a further month.

The sticking point is believed to be at the Millwall end, with the Lions currently experiencing a shortage up front due to injuries to Gary Alexander and Neil Harris.

It means that Athletic officials will turn their attentions elsewhere in a bid to bring an alternative attacking player, who could go straight into the team for a game at Boundary Park that has been described as “massive” by Dave Penney.

CAnt see what everyone is raving about, done nothing for years apart from 6 games for Bury, prior to which he'd scored 25 goals in 6 (yes, six) seasons, and 116 apps.

    whats the phrases.

Oh yes, no better than we already have got

If it is Nardiello lets not boo him out of contract at the end of the season so he may just have a point to prove. Not prolific but we are in the bottom four of league one playing crap football who would want to play for us? Heff has just proved that.

  4. Noticed simon whaley has just been released from his contract at norwich, he did a decent job at dale and thought he good do a job on the wings for us, hopefully DP will be willing to offer him a trial if interested

Aaron Davies released by Forest the other week if he can get back to his form at Yeovil well worth a look at

  5. Darren Ferguson is to ask dad Sir Alex if he can take Manchester United starlet Febian Brandy on loan until the end of the season.

Preston manager Ferguson recently claimed he wants to speak to his dad about the possibility of taking a few United players on loan to Preston.

And he will back up his comments by asking for Brandy, 20, who recently returned to United following a loan spell at Gillingham having scored twice in nine games.

Ferguson: keen on Manchester United's Febian Brandy

The England Under-20 star picked up a minor injury and was sent back to Old Trafford - although Gillingham desperately tried to get him to return to the Kent club.

But Gills' manager Mark Stimson failed to tie Brandy down to another temporary deal, paving the way for Ferguson to take the talented striker on loan at Deepdale.

  6. Interesting that as it maight give some credence to the possiblity of signing someone else as well as Price

Would be good if we can get him off the wagebill.. Tonights Chron mentions a Premier league striker who has previously rejected us and also Fabian Brandy for the Season from United

  7. I actually sat near Brodie on Saturday at york v Corby game. He's suspended.

I had Latics scarf on . He didn't say anything so obviously didn't want to give the game away. No sign of Penney or Hardy so they were obviously in the Board Room sorting out the deal.

Is this the same Brodie that Grimsby had a six figure sum turned down

  8. DP will be here next season no way will TTA payoff yet another manager if they did who would want to manage our club???

Heffernan will be the best we can attract we will be lucky if we can get him in, we are a club in a mess bottom four and looking at league 2 next season..

I believe two strikers have turned us down this week Nathan Eccleston and Ryan Amoo from Liverpool
