  1. Colchester 0-8 Oldham. Hughes 7 and Liddell penalty.

    E I E I E I O.

Reuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuben! - Who is that idiot who keeps shouting that??

He was sat the row behind me, you could predict when he was going to say it.

I think somebody fancys that rock at the back. (Not Captain Chicken Arse! Our other mighty bruiser)

  2. 4-3-3 was awful! O grady was so alone and won nothing, Smalley and Taylor were too far away from him,

This isnt a Shez out moan as people will know on here im a big Sheridan fan but tonight he got the setup wrong.

No need to rest both Hughes and Lewi one should still be in the team.

    didnt understand the 4-3-3 /451

Eardely didnt complete a pass I dont think he is so inconsistent (too say how well he played at Crewe)

Maher.... still very unsure as with O grady

Im not worried about the league but I just think we should have tried taking the game to them !

    KTF

They were absolute :censored:e, we would have leathered them with a full team.

Eagles ran the show, too good for them, should still be in the premiership.

Good turnout from us, :censored: turnout from them.

Eardley shocking, then blamed it on everyone else for his :censored:e crosses!

O'Grady wrong type of player to be playing on his own, can't run at defences.

  3. The CEO of Sainsbury’s today spoke out following below expected sales figures from the last week’s trading.

This just isn’t good enough, said Mr CEO, the public need to support us so that we can continue to stock the best products. For years, we accept that we have been stocking below standard goods but this year we have really pushed the boat out and are now stocking Heinz baked beans alongside our own brand variety. I was expecting this to lead to a significant increase in sales but we are now in our second week since we re-opened and still they are not coming. Unless we see an immediate improvement in profits, we will take the Heinz beans back off the shelf.

In an exclusive interview with a shopper outside Asda, we were told “I’d started to hear good things about Sainsbury’s but I am used to going to Asda. If Mr CEO takes the Heinz beans off the shelf, that doesn’t make the slightest bit of difference to me, because I shop at Asda. I must admit, I did consider going to Sainsbury’s in the next few weeks as they are now stocking goods that I thought I might like, but hearing this, I don’t know what I’ll find when I get there, so I’ll probably stick to what I know”.

Leaving Sainsbury’s at lunchtime today, a shopper told us “This is very disappointing news. I’ve always shopped at Sainsbury’s and in the last couple of weeks it has been a very enjoyable experience. It would be terrible if we had to go back to those own brand beans again. I’ve told all my friends about how good it has become and it would be very sad if they followed by suggestion that they should try it for themselves, only to find that the quality had slipped again.”

Sad bastard. Get your arse down to Boundary Park for 3PM on a Saturday!

  4. I don't understand why there are just shirts available to buy in the club shop- surely now we are partners with JD would a dummy with an Oldham shirt on of each type (Home and Away) in the front window, cause any harm? I'm sure JD's superiors would agree to that? Also as I remember there is nothing in JD's windows. It would be alot easier for people to buy merchandise and we would start cutting into United and Citys stronghold over this town. Surely this is do-able?

  5. Doesn't nothing normally mean nothing and not one thing and as that one thing was a jolly good save then its worth noting:

"Crossley - made superb save to keep score at 2-1 which IF had gone in could have spurred Cheltenham on and who knows what could have then happened????"

4-1 then. And still would be 2 points clear. ^_^

  6. I thought Cheltenham were scared to death of both Lewis and Lee Hughes. Both players are a real handful with the ball at their feet, and played off each other really well all game.

I wouldn't go as far as to say we're a one-man team, but Hughes is a key player, along with Gregan and, if he carried on his current form, Danny Whittaker. If all those players play most of our season we'll certainly be up there. I cannot see us selling Hughes unless the offers start reaching £1m or even more. The lad clearly has far too much quality for this division.

If Eardley is supposedly worth 3 million, what must this machine be worth?!

  7. maybe but i guess you would of been one of a load of people slagging him off had it gone in

No actually, your predjudice moaning radar is wrong on this occasion, I would have blamed the defence, for stopping before the whistle maybe should have gone for a questionable handball, and lacking vital concentration leading up to the save.

  8. so crossley had nothing to do apart from the fact he made a super save at 2-0 when theri striker got free them scoring then could have a had a different bearing on the game

One save in 90 minutes. Good save, the only time he was called upon.

I would say that was a quiet day for Crossely; wouldn't you?

  9. Crossely- Had nothing to do, but when called on did what was needed.

Eardley- Few dodgy moments but kept their winger under control.

Gregan- El Capitano was great, cool and collected on the ball, not one mistake.

Hazell- Reuben was the same, had an easy game.

Lomax- Played well, why do we need another left back? He is definatley good enough.

Liddell- Played well, didn't have much to do, :censored:e corners, they need to be worked on.

Whittaker- Ran the show, his goal topped of a sublime performance.

Allott- Also ran it, everything went through both CM, no mistake, our engine room is fired up captain!

Taylor- Did well again, played more of a backseat role today, passing and moving really, caused thier defence problems.

Hughes- Played unbelievably well, didn't stop running (Until he got his hat-trick of course!) I would renew his contract on Monday!

Alessandra- Played reasonably well, wasn't quite the same player after the ball smacked him in the chops.

Very good performance from all the team, no-one played badly and in the end should have had at least 6 with all those chances in the first half.
