I guess it depends on who Sinawatra gets in? A few stories are suggesting he's after Scolari, if he gets him I can see Richards hanging around.
Scolari turned down the England job cos he didn't wanted the hassle and media scrutiny that went with it, so he'd be mental to take the City job.Especially as the remit seems to be 'Champions League or you're sacked'.
Definitely good news for us, apparently the players were furious when they found out so fingers crossed...

Love Strachan's comments on Artur 'could cause trouble in an empty house' Boruc's God Bless The Pope t-shirt: "He's not a bad lad,the Pope. If it was God Bless Myra Hindley I might have a problem".

The rumour in my neck of the woods is that he has signed for doncaster for 300k. cannot believe it myself
One of the tabloids reported that he was going to Doncaster for £300K if they got promoted. Probably the same tabloid that said he'd signed for Plymouth last season.

i'm glad you said that,i thought it was just me.Certainly had a howler first half, made a mess of at least 2 clear cut chances.Really?!I thought he was terrible! Didn't think he was going to hit the target all game until the 'penalty'.

Are the league deliberately leaving it as long as possible to make a decision, so that they can work out how many points they can give Leeds back without it really making a difference to the final promotion/play-off places,so that they can say they've come to a compromise but they can minimise the chance of other teams suing them? Cos i can't think of why else this has been allowed to drag on so long. If i was a swansea fan i'd be furious, why should they get punished because of Ken Bates' p*ssing about?

Hmmm. Plays in Premier League. Or Championship. Or League One.
Rules out Michael Ricketts then.
-
won't that just be because of a fussy ref?
seen the same colour shorts on both teams in many games...
Some refs are easily confused, remember Chaddy the Owl being ordered to move away from the pitch a few years ago cos the referee thought he might mistake him for one of our players? think the quote in the programme at the following game was "In fairness i did have the same kit as the players but on the other hand i do have a giant furry head".

It's interesting looking at what he said when he signed the new contract:
"The manager has been great. We're going to fight for Europe, which is a massive achievement."
So if Eriksson goes and they don't make the Uefa cup place...?

Last minute winner and a punch-up at the end. What more could you want?
Fantastic win, especially considering they were once again hampered by having Samaras up front for the last 15 minutes.
-
been thinking about this though, they signed a contract to say that in return for their share, they would accept the 15 points deduction and not take this an further. Now that it is obvious that they are not acceptign the deduction, could the league withdraw their share for next season or even this season?
Good point, i would have that the FL would at least be entitled to sue them for breach of contract

Some valid points made. Disagre about Liddell - he had a go, unlike most of the others. Also, as much as I love Chris Taylor, thought he was an idiot to let the Swindon fans wind him up, then get a yellow card.
A swindon fan's posted on the wsc boards saying that the abuse Taylor got was the worst he's ever heard. Was it really as bad as that?
(Sorry to only drag this up a week later, i've only just got proper internet access)

He also tried to sue the club after he left, claiming they owed him wages. He got us into the play-offs with the second highest wage bill in the division, and he was the highest paid manager in the division, despite not having a contract.I can't see him ever being invited back TBH.

Are the teams gonna run out to Ernie the Fastest Milkman in the West? Seems only fair...

Imagine we'd won every game this season and were promoted in February. Would have had about 8 or 9 meaningless home games! Would have been horrible.
Good point well made.
Sheridan can't win - on the one hand he's getting slated for suggesting Liddell and Gregan might start on Saturday when they're only just back from injury,on the other hand if he talks about playing the young lads he's given up,it's not worth going and he should be sacked. Give your season ticket to someone who can't afford to go to the game if you're that bothered.

Perhaps you should have titled your post "why SOME women" - I have doctors where I work coming in, asking me football questions, facts and trivia, AND I understand the offside rule.
(Only joking mate I get your point.
That puts you one up on most referees/managers....

Micah Richards. Hopefully his England cap'll put a couple of million on his transfer fee.
-
Find him a job
Give him a playing contract, it looks like we're not going to be able to fill the bench again on Saturday and we could do a lot worse....
-
..On to say that we can still make the playoffs and he's still aiming for them!
"I think he will bag one tomorrow!"
Told you! well done taylor!
Any chance you could post 'i think ian moore's gonna break his leg and tranmere won't score again all season'?
