The problem is an awful lot of money has been blown on DU and his merry men, with too many on long-term contracts.  We will need someone who can make a stab at turning some of these 'sows ears' into silk purses.  I see little new money for the next manager.

We are in a holding position.

Just looked at our squad and the number of players contracted to 2025 is frightening, particularly as many will be next to impossible to off load.

May as well stick with ST with a brief to avoid relegation, unless Frank has a bottomless pit of money.

I seem to remember DU saying wanted a minimum 18 months before he was judged, that takes us to February.  Unless we are in grave danger of relegation I can see him staying to the end of the season.  This fits with what Lee was told by DU’s family.

Sure we could improve the squad, but the squad we have shouldn’t be winning 1 in 7 games. Just do your job and manage the football team and get the best out of what you have. 
 

Anyone can request better players and rely on the quality of the players to get results. Each week he baffles me more.
