  1. I bet smalley starts right wing taylor left, if not o grady left taylor right n kieran lee will be centre with allott. Id still love to see taylor played centre

i agree, dont think lee is a winger,i think he could do the job,he scored that goal at crew from RW,he can do well at either full back but IMO,CM by far his best position, but saying that i would just like to see him play whatever the position

  2. Neither can I, although it's because I've got a snidey version of Windows which won't let me upgrade media player. Bizarrely though, I can view the free titbits put on the fishul site.
i got one video to play when i first bought it then nothing.i tried to download a video and then found out my windows wasn,t genuine, yesterday i payed 95 quid to legalise my windows been world today and still nothing so p****d off
  3. Not the best, but hey, worth reporting I suppose. Heard from a player today.

Kieron Lee was looking very very good in training, and when hes on the ball, it's 'impossible' to get it off him. However he's abit lazy apparently. Another interesting thing is that his 'best' not sure whether that means favourite or 'best at' position is at full back.

    Also, Whitaker looks 'class'.

Not much else on the board at the min, might as well share.

i dissagree,if you research back a few months you will find there was lots of trouble down at qpr from players complaining about the training regime it was supposed to be crap and the manager was sacked at the end of the season,so i would imagine the lad struggled in that first week back, and check out with man u board, anyone who knows about reserves will say he is anything but lazy.also listening to lots of people his best position is centre mid .

  4. I'll just say, we've bought someone who'd rather be doing anything else but playing football!!!!!

thats totally unfair to be starting rumours that could stick with a player, and if you mean lee as you say you have links with him why dont you let him settle and then cast your oppinions,as your info seems to be coming second hand.

  5. Shame this, where Lee is going to play will be the biggest decision for Shez to make from the new squad IMO. If he misses much it could delay him getting established in the squad and he’ll be waiting to fill in wherever he is needed rather than us finding his best position from the word go.
i totally agree, its a bummer that only gives one game before the season, doesnt give the lad much chance to show what he can do
  6. can nyone help,i watched one of the world videos a few weeks ago then went to watch another and it wouldnt play none of them will even the one i did get to watch, has anyone any ideas what the problem could be

  7. Like others ive text a red mate - he's a rare knowledgable member of the worlds least knowledgable fans and watches the reserves regularly.

Me: Hello you red ****. Is Kieron Lee any good?

Red ****: Very good. Captains the reserves quite a lot. Why?

Me: Excellent. Latics have just signed him

    Red ****: On loan?

    Me: Nope...2 year deal

Red ****: Blimey. Fergie used to rave about him. Good dribbler with a decent shot. Can play in the middle of the park too. Likes going out raving though!

not sure about the raving from what i hear he,s a quiet lad.

  9. QPR (possibly the richest Club in England?) liked him enough to offer him a Contract and many of their fans were raving about him on their Messageboard when quizzed yesterday. They couldn't believe that he was going to League One as he impressed so much in The Championship when given the opportunity.

Let's face it, very few make the grade at Old Trafford where you are competing for a position against the best players in the World and for them to release someone doesn't necessarily mean they are a Clegg or a Cooper!

I understand that he struggled to settle in London - not surprising for a 19 year old lad from Vegas - which is why he turned down QPR's offer.

I think this is a massive coup for Latics and he certainly came across well in the interview. He definitely seems to have his feet firmly on the ground.

i agree,he said in his interview he wanted to play for a local team which is why he chose us,maybe he just wants to play and not chase the money, going from utd is no shame when he has to compete with nani and anderson etc who cost millions what chance has the local boy got.

  10. I'm pleased that Latics have been active this early, and it shows that despite what some think, the management were hard at work preparing before the season ended.

No-one knows how this will turn out, other than indications from what other fans have said on messageboards, which is always to be taken with a shovelful of salt IMO. What can assertain from it, and especially from Lee is that Kalala is probably close to finding a club. I feel Lee is a cheaper option to Livermore, so am still expecting a natural left winger/full back type player, creative midfielder and striker to arrive yet.

Glad we have the goalie situation resolved now. Good competition is vital and I'm sure Norm will miss a few games through injury this coming season. All in all, a promising start to the summer.

i have seen lee play on numerous occasions for man u v latics in the msc,he is excellent in midfield imo, have also seen him filling in at full back,he is a good player and only young so hopefully can only get better
