It would be lost on today's kids, it was on us back then along with a host of other poorly dubbed foreign shows we had to endure on the two TV channels we had to choose from
That black and white dubbed Robinson Crusoe on every day during the summer school holidays in the 70’s was a favourite of mine.
wonder if you can still watch it somewhere?

I'd have him on the pitch pre match or at half time if he's there tonight.
Think Radio Manchester have said he’’ll be on air with them tonight
not sure if that’s just before the match though?

The exception people took to downboats was always entertaining.
My favourites are the ones who revenge downboat by finding a historic post and randomly downboating that.
Give the petty people what they want!
I’ve had that
when I downboated someone , on the same day they went back to a post I did about a month and downboated it
to be fair , it was a poor pun

So because he keeps it all cloak and dagger we should give him the benefit of the doubt? Sorry but we suffered enough of that bullshit at the hands of Corney for years and had to bow down to the apologists, there is not a chance I will spend one more penny with the club they way we are operating and I reckon he's making a huge mistake behaving the way he is.
We can bury our heads in the sand if you like but there is a consistent theme emanating from the club and there hasn't really been any denial of this.
I can empathise with you on not attending games .
as i’ve got a season ticket I will be going, but if was a POTDer I would be thinking of not going
never seen it like this before

if there was such a player he'd be wasted at left back! Would he be the new Messi - ah?
He’s not the Messiah, he’s a very naughty boy

I'd heard the £300k figure too - the delay is due to AL trying to rustle up the readies.
Too late now, but he could have speculated to accumulate before Saturday, when a win could have been worth £430,000 in prize money alone

It is the figure I also heard to be honest, but the only people who know for sure are PS and AL...
Really hope this happens and AL can sit on his hands
massive publicity
a good signing or two
fill the ground on Saturday
well 1 out of 3 ain’t bad

Could we have an option that says
no idea, nothing would surprise me

Abdallah - Here are my conditions for taking the manager’s job:
1. I and my coaching team have total control over team selection
2. I can bring in my own back room team
3. Sufficient funds to be made available to sign players of proven quality
4. No player is signed without my agreement.
5. No member of the ownership team is allowed into the dressing room unless invited
6. Ownership team to give 24 hours prior notice if planning to turn up to a training session
7. Any criticism of players or coaching staff is handled behind closed doors
8. The club to forge stronger ties with the local community
I look forward to your feedback.
Currently, probably none of those boxes are ticked, which goes a long way to why we are where we are unfortunately, on and off the pitch, and unable to have confirmed a local experienced high profile person.

You'd have thought AL would have insisted Vera started?
From what I saw in his short time on the pitch yesterday, he looked out of his depth
