all I can say is.
for the first time in years the final result was just.
to many times i.e Gillingham have left BP with point/points which were undeserved
as said previously. even going a goal down you could sense we were getting a result today.
hats of to the team and management.

personally credit has to go to to tommy wright who since he came we have been better.
that's not to say LJ isn't good but as a team LJ and tommy with philly is a great management team

at the end of the day 22 quid for league one is to much.
I have a season ticket so matchday prices don't bother me but 15 quid pay on the day for adults would be better.

bury away please
-
small change but any profit made from these games is indeed welcome.

I wonder what the rent situation will be if attendances keep dropping.
could they find themselves evicted/forced to leave situation all over again.
-
not keen on Kusunga so I hope he proves me wrong
-
can't they ground share with Oldham RU
-
we are going to win against the gills.

Quick mention for Liam Kelly.
Looks to be growing into his own in midfield now. Looking better and better game by game. Made one brilliant tackle of note this afternoon, where he stopped their winger bursting forward and then stopped the attack completely with a tactical foul.
Hopefully he'll continue to get better as time goes on...
agrred. much improved by both central midfielders
-
well done all players today.
-
I hope we can get another win next week and stay up where we are.
it will help keep home attendances above 4k.
the financial impact of doing well and staying in top ten will be massive towards helping build a good team.
If and I say if the new stand can help bring in another 300 plus home fans per game that itself is massive for our club.
I would therefore expect at some point next season to have 5k home fans attend for a league match.
heres hoping. KTF

Hopes: City sell Michah Richards, we finish the stand, stay clear of injuries, don't sell any of our better players, draw Man Utd away in the FA Cup and push for the play-offs.
Fears: Half the squad is wiped out with injury/sales, we have to rely on loanees from Man City who have no intention of becoming a professional Footballer, Johnson gets sacked and replaced by Phil Brown, Rochdale hammer us and we yet again stagnate in the bottom 6 of the table with crowds dropping below 3,000 on a regular basis.
Expectations: We'll progress from our "relegation fodder" tag, have a few decent run of results, sell one of our better players to one of the challenging teams in this Division for an "undisclosed fee", finish between 8th and 14th, finish the stand and see average crowds rise again.
I don't want manure away. home yes. I hope we make play off final. would be awesome to see the blues out at wembley
don't have any fears. after the montano incident last season which i think had an effect on the team.
expectations. I expect us to have a better season than last. ten points better off.

Following recent announcements and the catastrophic marketing of the Season Ticket Sales in conjunction with our 'glorious new stand' can we look to have a new CEO put in place, someone who knows what he is doing?
As a Latics fan for some 40 years this really is a terrible situation SC has got us into,
1) Contiunually falling attendances
2) Fans rep on the Board who is nothing but a Lap Dog
3) 2 of the 3 TTA have basically abandoned the club and remain purely as Investors
4) A 'White Elephant' of a new stand being part built but with no money to complete it!
5) Tying the hands of a potentially good manager by telling him and other clubs that our best player is for sale because of 4)
6) Telling us as supporters that 4) will save the club-you cannot find the funds to finish it
7) Some interest in improving the match day experience, perhaps by putting all the fans together-then changing your mind!
8) Seeing an improvement in 7) purely I think by luck and by the efforts of the fans then looking at spreading out those fans by 4)
This might never happen but it is your plan Mr Corney
9) A £30 charge to those loyal supporters who havent jumped ship YET! just to enjoy decent facilities, as in other grounds.
10) The complete lack of any special offer/incentive on 4) to get fans back who have deserted the club
This new stand is your baby Mr Corney and you are making a complete and utter mess of it
Do the decent thing get the £2M from your mates and go and join them across the water and then leave a new CEO and LJ alone!
If we get the Richards money you can take it. If OAFC 2004 Ltd ends up in profit you can have that too.
You have said that we need the new stand to break even-no we need success on the pitch to stand any chance of it!
If We ever got to the Premier League you can call in all the debt. Just do us a favour Go away and close the door behind you!
hee hee. minus 20. your my hero. not

Am I reading this right? Are you criticising SC for building a 4th stand because it might split up fans who've gathered together to do some singing in the last few games? Which was a club initiative. That worked quite well. But only because of "luck".
as one of the singing fans. there are no plans to go into the new stand. and we will move together to either paddock or chaddy when rocky rd closed.
and its nothing to do with the club we have a better, and it will be better singing section.
and its defo not luck.
