I've met most big global DJs like Groove Armada, Sasha, Derrick Carter, Jeff Mills, e.t.c, and I'm good friends with a few. Also met quite a few band members (like peter hook, bez e.t.c) and models (Inc kate moss).

 

I've met a load of footballers, and soap stars too maily (they're like lice in Manchester so occasionally you get chatting with one in a bar).

 

I also met Bill Beamont last year professionally at his textiles business.

 

I shook Princess Di and Charles' hand once.

 

I've known Lembit Opik since I was in school.

Me and the missus met Ted Kennedy (JFKs younger brother) on Capitol Hill last year in Washington. He was giving a speech on Gun crime/laws and we followed him to his limo. surrounded by plain clothes cops, surprised that they allowed us to get so close and shake his hand!

All time favourite is "Men of Honour" With Cuba Gooding Junior and Di Niro. True story and a proper feel good film. does it get a mention? probably not

Claim to fame:- Met (shook hands with) Cuba Gooding Junior in Planet Hollywood in Downtown Disney about 10 years ago, he was plugging that awful film

Good win for us (Glossop) was thinking about going to this one but got lazy and stayed in the pub Will definety have to sample Surrey Street again sometime this season when I'm not at Latics.

Well, what a game.... Glossop went 1-0 up on 25mins followed by an equaliser around 30 mins.

3 goals in the second half gave a deserving victory to the hillmen.

Mike Flynn brought in by New Mills as captain but a little off the pace!

I stood in the away end (covered) and was amused to find that most of the Mills fans around me were also S/port fans and were busy

gloating about the previous nights result. One guy was going on about how the fight made for a great atmosphere in the Cheadle End

and how it was there own fault (latics fans) as they shouldn't have been in there anyway! I bit my tongue as i didnt want a repeat performance.
