This thread is hilarious.
Having got back home about 11 45 I'm not laughing.

Mansfield are the best team we have played. They are well organised and have very tricky wingers who can actually cross the ball.We were lucky not to be 4-0 down at half time but for the cross bar and our brill keeper who was Motm. Clarke and George kept a lot out and Taylor did OK. The rest had a bad day and our strikers poor. Will be glad when Surridge is back .He would have buried that great chance at the very end.Millar and Ogrady have to up their games big time for me.
400 plus Latics felt let down by this lackluster performance but credit to the team for hanging on and having a go in the second half and so nearly nicked all 3 points at the end .Lady luck was definitely with us tonight. We were better after Baxter came on for Lang.
We will have Surridge back soon so hoping we don't put on a similar show on Saturday! !!

What pub are people heading to?
I'm going in the Midland next to the station only a few mins to the away end .Should get there about 6 so time for a half.

I'm going. They have scored a lot at home so our defence needs to be up for a battle.Hoping Surridge will be fit in time..I don't want to see daft mistakes like we did against Colchester.I will be happy with a point and extatic with a win and hope we have a bit of luck as well .

Crazy game. Played them off the park. Three moments of madness for their goals

Just been to get a ticket. Said 800 sold but no coach seats left. Does anyone know if any other coaches or mini buses going?
If not will get the train.

No one has ripped us apart. Two 1_0s which we should have done better. Team will improve. Fine margins between winning and losing. I'm positive from what I have seen to believe we will be up there come the end of the season

I'd start with the same team as tonight apart from putting Clarke in.

Disappointed with the result tonight but not with the teams performance .From start to finish they all put in a shift.Surridge and Lang ran their socks off up front and Surridge took his goal really well.Barnsley won it with two scrappy goalsfollowing goalmouth scrambles which should have been cleared .
This team and the way we are playing and the stamina should be rewarded with at least a play off.
Looking forwards to seeing this squads progress.

Saw lard arse (Gerrard) make a comment on Jacks Instagram saying the club will reap what they've sown so be interesting to see how it all pans out.
This adds to my opinion of Gerrard. If his mate has been sacked then so be it.

I'd back that one up as well
Same here. Just walked to Heysham this morning and got soaked? Called in a cafe and four walked in and said these Oldham fans get everywhere,!!!

Good win but credit to Morecambe who kept going. Should give our scorers confidence. Great saves by motm.
Now celebrating in Morecambe all night. Good away supporters

Looking forwards to going for the weekend and a win.Kings Arms is good for beer food and large tv screens and is just across from the Eric Morecambe statue. Then off to Cartmel races for another win or two.Morecambes future looks good if they can get that Eden project built.

For us to pay him off we'd be looking at a minimum of one years wages, at a rumoured 5k a week. Not happening.
Hope this suspension makes him a better person and team player when and if he comes back.

Less than 150 left for this, not a bad effort all things considered and I'd be shocked if they turn away more custom on Saturday given the finances of the club.
I reckon that 150 will get sold out .On our seat tickets there are no seat numbers ?
Also thought there was a strike on local Morecambe trains on Sat so presume they will put buses on otherwise there is a 6a bus stop outside the ground to Lancaster.

That'll be great, staying over Friday and Saturday night I'm guessing?
You'll receive a fine welcome in Morecambe and a walk along the coast either way is highly recommended, I cycle down it daily proudly wearing Latics gear
Safe journey over Sir
Cheers OLDHAMADE.Staying Saturday and Sunday then off to Cartmel.Probably walk up to the Kings for a few before the game.

Its the fans who went to Yeovil who deserve the medals.
According to my son who is on his way back we did OK against a team who will be tough to beat at home and is happy with a hard earned point

Just our luck for them to bring in a brilliant keeper on loan.
I recall at home against Yeovil a few years ago they had a brilliant keeper who performed miracles. Hope he is not related! !!
Not taking anything for granted in this game and will have to be up for a fight.
Looking forward to the game and a win. My wife is treating me to a couple of days at the Midland so will have plenty of time to celebrate our win......hopefully.

Getting Jack back in the team will be the difference between finishing 3rd and 13th. Not trolling.
I rate him as a player but not as a team player if the accounts of his attitude are true.
We will have to wait to find out the truth but just wish this would be made known so we know what the hell is going on.

I'm not saying the were faultless but they put their all in that game and if their more experienced team mates had done the same thing then we could have won.
That said thought Placide ce have done a lot better for both goals.
These lads had no midfield or strikers helping out which put pressure on the defence. Northamptons players were massive and more than a handful for anyone let alone two young Inexperienced defenders who at least tried. BTW who scored?

At Mansfield we were searched with metal detectors and the police and officials were really strict and had a sniffer dog as well!. Seemed a bit OTT
First time I've been sniffed for a while!!!!!
