I think that the fact that us old farts have got all aeriated about this show that it doesn't happen all that often and it's upset us!

No never, that's what pisses me off, we make excuses for people to do stupid things because ' they are young or thick or whatever' I've never felt the need to spit or punch anyone and it's relatively low level stuff like this that we should just not tolerate. I've been going to games for a very long  time  and I love it but there is no need for any sort of fighting. Shout let off steam cheer,sing say stupid things and enjoy. 

Im not trying to be holier than thou, just trying to say how cross Iwas with what I saw on Monday, i was stood just next to the scuffle and it took me back.

I wasn't there in th pub but I agree, the pre game chat/pint is a fantastic part of the day and mustn't be spoilt by plonkers 

In the ground, apparently there was a complaint from a neighbour about the noise of the drum. The stewards explained and had to stop the noise, one or 2 people took exception to this!

there was a very silly cafuffle punches thrown and spitting, from young uns and a couple of old boys who should know better- one od the stewards got too involved and at least one latics boy was thrown out - a bit later the lead steward came back to explain and apologise for his steward. All very silly and unnecessary.

Keeping it positive, I'm going to Bristol rovers on Monday never been there and looking forward to us scoring and gaining some points... something I havent seen for the past 5 years when ever I've been to a match!
