No worries, Pete. I didn't think you'd mind.
-
-
Can you try to use the PM function please.
Thanks
On condition you use question marks, full stops and a modicum of tolerance.
Cheers.

Tues or Weds mate?
Either day I should be there about half five.
D'oh!
Tuesday.
-
Euston is good. I've got a meeting that ends around 5ish at Euston, so will be in the area.
Doric Arch?
@Steve - I've sent you Pete's email. And potentially a trip down memory lane.
-
Oi who ever you are!
I am in the smoke on Tues & Weds night if you fancy a beer.
Not seen you since the Millwall game.
Derek.
I'm skint, squire. But might be persuaded to have a swift ale after work. If you're buying, like.

It's Steve Anglesey here - I'm the bloke writing the Alan Groves feature for FourFourTwo - thanks for all your help so far.
Another fan has suggested I should get in touch with Pete Mason of the Beyond The Boundary zine, who ran a monthly 'Alan Groves Story' feature in the 1990s - are you out there, Pete? Or does anyone else know how to contact him.
Thanks again for all your help.
Blimey, is that Steve Anglesey as in 'went to Hodge Clough' Steve Anglesey?
If no one gets back to you on this before this evening, I'll ping over Pete's email address by PM later on.
I may even reveal my identity...

I rarely believe much coming from a ladyman.

Phase one of the current plans is shrewsbury.
Blimey that's miles away.
-
You been down for a ganzer, garcon?
-
Looks :censored:.
From that photo anyway.
Although even in that photo it looks about a million gazillion times better than Boundary Park has ever looked, ever.
-
So...
Has he signed? Or Hasney?
-
To be fair, ed, if there's one team in the league they're LESS likely to get a hammering off, I'd like you to point them out.

Its been purring down in south manchester all afternoon
Raining cats and dogs, then?

"Lucky there's a marketing guy... lucky there's a man who positively can do all the things that make you laugh and cry. He's mar-ket-ing guy!"
Sorry, bit bored today.

I've an idea for a protest. Get as many people down to the ground as possible at the next home game and cheer the team on as if you actually support them.
Too radical?
-
David Currie.
Actually saw him score a belter of a goal when he first signed, but he turned out to be a lazy :censored:e.
-
Andy Goram II
Alter ego or second time he signed?
-
Don't think he was a let down. Did a solid job.
It was the niggly injuries bit Prozac mentioned that was a let down, IMO. Showed so much promise, only to never really see it through.
Certainly not a flop by any means, but ultimately disappointing.

Why not? If it makes the club good money sod originality.
Genius.

When you headlined 'Latics player problems' I thought you meant the woeful team
Same here.
Especially when I saw the request for a 'low-quality' option!

Keep Oldham in my heart, keep me Latics,
Keep Oldham in my heart, I pray,
Keep Oldham in my heart, keep me Latics,
Keep me Latics 'til my dying day.
Wouldn't bother with this, lest the idiots see it as a cue to start singing 'No Surrender'.
dave doesn't care
