It all sounds, erm, good, I suppose...but I just wish it wasn't that location...sounds like we have no choice but to move to F/w though.
Spot on.like many others I believe the location is debatable but Fxxxed if I can think of an alternative

sush, you didnt go, since you thought the irish lady was going on about the 24 bus after the dale game
Actually I DID but fulll credit to you I did not realise that the lady was Irish even though she was only a few seats away from me, She was sat on the front ror right in front of AH
Also FULL CREdit to te club for giving a refund to ticket purchasers

I attended tonight and you got pretty much of the stuff spot on, Just one question?, where abouts did you sit
Best question of the night
-
One of the highlights of the evening was a question from an elderly chap who wanted reassurances that there would be sufficient bus services back to Oldham from the new ground after the fiasco of last season's Rochdale cup game when the 24s stopped running after the final whistle.
Actually it was a lady (I think)

Latest ticket number update please!
and is anyone going for a pre meeting pint?
-
Any chance of her writing to the Chron in support of the proposals?
Will work on it
-
Being extremely flippant,
Could we build a ground there and would it have an Oldham post code?
-
Born in Oldham and proud of it.
Work in Failsworth and one of my colleages lives she claims extermely close to the proposed new stadium.
Not only does she have no problem with that bit she reckons that her fella will give "us" a try
Our first convert?
-
If either of you still lived in Oldham, you would see a problem us of losing our finest institution within the town.
Seem to recollect similar type of comment when OB move to Boddingtons brewery
Personally I do NOT wish to move to Failsworth but see no other alternative as I wish MY/OUR club to stay alive
We have all questioned TTA s (now 4 ) intentions for the club but I believe that without their intervention there would be no Oldham Athletic
so " lets get behind the boys and make some noise for OUR boys"
We love you Oldham, oh yes we do

I must confess that I have been to Old Trafford on at least four occaisions
Mea culpa, mea culpa mea maxima culpa

Can I please be forgiven?

Think we had some sort of scheme with a building society but the rates weren't very good and then you had a small percentage of that given to the club. If they offered a good rate before they started taking deductions if might be worth it but I doubt anyone would do that.
Beat me to it :

Interest rates
AT the moment, I am not in a position where I can forego interest on savings.
We use it for our day to day living so my wife can stay at home and look after our toddler, but it would be interesting to know how much Oldham made out of this.
£1m for Stoke last year. At first I read it as £6.7m last year!
I know we don't have a local building society, and trouble with unemployment, but that sort of money could be handy!
MAybe this could be something to target the kids with, to keep them intreswted in LAtics during their younger years.
I am sure that there was a "partnershio with a Building Society a seoson or two ago
Probably Sean Jarvis days

She who must be obeyed (well every now and then) is currently watching a prog on the box featuring Jacksons friendship (?) with Geller
Does anyone remember when Geller was mooted as a possible buyer of the Latics many years ago?

As a Salford City supporter and ex Chaddy ender I'm looking forward to our pre-season friendly against yourselves at our Moor Lane ground in Salford on Tuesday 4th August - kick off 7:30pm. We play in the Unibond North Division One - that's four leagues below League 2 and I'm hoping that you'll bring a smattering of first team players as well as a few fans to swell our coffers! My best memories of following the Latics was beating Man U at home 1-0 following their relegation from the 1st Division and our promotions from the 4th and 3rd Divisions in the early 70's. I still think of Jim Fryatt as the King, remember the brilliance and clowning of Alan Groves and have fond memories of players such as David Shaw,
Maureeeeeece Whittle, Jim Bowie, Ian Robins, Harry Dowd and so many others. Happy days indeed!
Na Na Nana Hey Hey Jim Fryatt ................. Good luck for the coming season.
ps - We play in tangerine so hence the 'TangerineDream'
Could be a different night out
Diego, directions and pub info please

Certain members were promoting violence at football games as an entertaining way to spend a day as opposed to the stupid and childish act it really is.
Anyone who does so in the future will be banned outright and no correspondence will be entered into.
Thanks for that
WELL DONE
I brought my daughter and son up as Latics Fans
I remember the look in my sons eyes first time he saw it "kick off" (at Elland Road suprise, suprise)
I want to be able to take my grandaughter and grandson to games without the worry of some mindless moron spoiling the day (Unfortunatly we do have one or two in our ranks also)
-
I drank all day and didn't try and beat the piss out of anyone. It's not the drink it's the arse holes.

More to do with the fact that the :censored: comes out of their mouths and not their arseholes
-
I was there. Well done tics, but we lost to the better team
Totally agree but what a good day/night out

I work in Failsworth. It is hard to have a race riot in a place where everyone is the same race.
No offence to the good people of Failsworth, I hate the place because I work there (and do not enjoy my job)
I will however follow the Club that I have Loved for many years to our new ground.
Like many others I appreciated that this is not the perfect solution but may be our only chance of survival
OH WHEN THE BLUES
-
Gone already.
I still have one spare ticket going FOC for the masters.
A nominal donation to any of the charities mentioned on this website would be appreciated
