"Sing when your fishing"- Grimsby Boxing Day, I can't remember the year but Ernie was playing and scored a cracker.
"Reidy had a :censored:"
"If Robin Hood was real he'd be dead" @Forest
Not specifically a chant but LL's banter with the Brentford goalie last season- "Price I admire you as a man but your keeping is atrocious" (or something like that)
it was if robin hood was real he'd be gay. but was very funny

Sky +ed the Arse game and was rewarded with a good come back in the first-half, before :censored: defending and goalkeeping cost us the game from a set-piece AGAIN! After conceding two from similar positions in the first-half - clueless fookwits!
thought he had a shocker for that third goal didnt react at all to the morrison flick on even if he didnt mean it
-
hes definatly got away with one there asnt he

Has enough time gone by for us to forget what happened last time and the reason we haven't had boxing there since?
Be good if it happens though, Warren could send us the Heffron's for a full Oldham Billing!
why what happened?

why is tounkara still starting games

They have already made £800k apparently from their cup run, not including the money they will recieve from the game at The Emirates.
Also couldnt believe yesterday when i heard they had only lost 1 of the last 20 matches in all competitions.
+1
new they had been on a good run but was shocked at that

have one this year but unlikely to renew due to work commitments but will still be going as often as possible

Oh dear does show a player on the deck and two being palmed away.
Wonder if the Carlisle GK will get it too seemed as he ran 30yds t get involved pushed Taggart from behind and then when Taggart turned around, he ran away....hmmm

Maybe I'm really really stupid or something, but I still haven't seen any convincing financial argument that explains why building a brand new stadium somewhere else is viable, but redeveloping Boundary Park isn't.
We're told that it's due to the collapse in land values, such that the land around Boundary Park is no longer valuable enough to subsidise the redevelopment. And yet when you add the plot of land the ground is actually built on, the overall value suddenly becomes such that it will finance the building of a whole new stadium elsewhere.
Does not compute.
its been gone over that many times its just getting boring now. the land at BP including BP is going to be sold to finance the new stadium on the new site. if we dont get a new site and rebuild BP at BP we cant sell BP and the current site to fund the new site/stadium. its not rocket science
-
Anyone think it is a bit naughty moaning about not having any land to build the new ground in Oldham when there is a huge wealth of land around boundary park (including boundary park.
Redevelop it. You won't get another ground so close to a main motorway.
i take it from that that you have to 20 million needed to do so which you are happy to hand over? cheers thats a great gesture. you surely are the saviour of latics that we were all hoping for
-
Were you told where the site was? Or just that we are getting one.
no i wasnt. he new where but i couldnt get it out of him said its all very hush hush until everything is sorted
-
Good crowd that tonight.
I'm not usually one to question the official attendance, but did anyone else think there were more like 9k there?
no i think that was pretty honest. the carlisle section had about 1000 spare seats alone. bottom left of rre (looking at it from chaddy) had a few spares an the chaddy wasnt full either
-
what pissed me off was all the part time fans who turned up for the first time this season payed 2 quid after there addmission was subsidised by local businesses (most if not all other oldham fans) and then had the audacity to boo at the final whistle
-
ye i have been told about the new site by a very reliable source aswel. aparantly we will be chuffed that we didnt go to failsworth when this site is revieled
-
he landed at least 3 proper punches one resulted in there player hitting the deck with a broken nose. apparant;y he took exception to 4 of them grabbing lewis. can see quite a long touchline ban coming along
-
i had just turned 2 and was completly oblivious
-
I like the red and white as an away shirt
-
for future reference the wellington in the centre is most definatly a home pub

the way i see it is that they expected to have started building failsworth or at least planning to start building before the start of next season so the extra running cost of BP for a season or two more was a resonable expense but to just keep throwing money at it without anything lined up or any imediate hope of finding somewere new is too much money

i work in retail so my work skills are pointless but what i cant do with a paint brush aint worth doin

how does this one look? i too mainly use it for FM and browsing internet and playing music. but not much of an expert on specs
-
or maybe a voucher - people paying on the door next week get a voucher for a £10 ticket vs Trannies?
that wouldnt help in my opinion just the people who already go would get in cheaper. think 2 for 20 or3 for 30 sumat along them lines may have more luck
No home fans in RRE for the visit of Tranmere

i do apart from now having to put up with the chavs from RRE in the chaddy end again. we shouldnt even sell season tickets in the RRE. give small section to away fans dont use big section save money across the whole of the season and get the few fans we actually have all together instead of spreading 3000 across 9000 seats
