  1. If possible, little food outlets like Bar Burrito, Subway etc.. similar to what they have at Tesco on Hudds Rd. They'll make money for the club but also expose it to weeklong passing trade who maybe, just maybe might decide to take a match in one Saturday.

If they put a Subway in there i'll get a season ticket

  2. I think we need to get off his back and give the lad another chance he has said in the Chron, he has had a shocker last season and wants the fans to get behind him and he will prove himself this season.. he's scored a fair few goals at his previous clubs give him another crack of the whip

    Hi Warren :chubb:

  3. is it? Or are some of those people who were going to go anyway and have paid less than they would have done?

It definitely will be some people who were going to go anyway, but isn't this the same for the £1 entry games etc. games we've done in the past? It's just a new medium of promoting the club, there is a lot of traffic on that website and I know that on a few deals I may not have necessarily purchased in the end i've seen the brands website at the bottom of the description and still had a look, might lead to a small increase in traffic to the website which can only be a good thing also.

  4. I noticed there was a deal on there today - £8 instead of £23.50 for two tickets for Rugby 7s at Edgeley Park - they've sold 150 so far so that's 300 extra on the attendance. Wondered if something like this might work for us, getting extra bums on seats. Groupon is now massively popular so it'd be reaching a wide audience. I'm not sure of the ins and outs of it for the costs for the tems/businesses involved to put their deal on there, but might be worthwhile?

  5. I think it has been mentioned that he has been trialling with us but looks like we are definitely interested -

We continue to work on two Premier League deals that we hope to finalise soon. Further down the leagues Josh Parker, a 20-year old striker, has also made an impression at Oldham so we await to see if there is anything we can do there.

He loved the set up and the manager so I hope we can do something

According to the same article he is off to Antigua on international duty over the next week.
