I think most of us can agree that the drum is annoying when it's played constantly for 90 minutes.
Personally, I think at times it can really help with the atmosphere, but the kid needs to be smart about it.
If he's going to keep using it, then use it to just start off songs that require it and then if they start going awol use it for a couple of bars to get it back together again. We most certainly don't need it for the entire game, drowning out all the singing.
Have you ever watched the drummer? He has no interest in the game, just full of his own self importance, and obviously tone deaf! I don't mind a drum, but as stated above, it needs to be tailored to starting off a chant/song.

We won't score...I am watching Saturday and have seen us draw 4 out of 4 blanks so far this season.
You are barred, my friend

While I respect the lads who follow the club the constant drumming is a pain in the backside. If it was just periodically then fine, no problem, but 90 minutes of it is taking away one of the reasons I go to games which is to chat with old mates and talk about the game.
It always sounds as if it needs tuning, which irritates me.

The sooner we reach safety, the better. I would start him, and see how it goes.

The new perimeter boards remind me of the score if I forget

Actually, all the other games were originally scheduled for Saturday.
Everyone else decided to move to Good Friday (or Thursday)....
Might be good for a few extra supporters....unless they have all gone away for the weekend

Scruffy 1-0 win for us.
Depends if the ref is a blades fan like usual

Can you do something with LP lol. I have had to resort to listening to the opposing teams commentary this season, as Latics LP, cuts out too much.

Get in!!!!

My 1st MOM was Peter Clarke....until the last 4 mins. Sorry Peter no contest!

Loved watching Shefki Kuki do his famous flip
-
Thought that Ngoo, took on Holloway's role in an effective, different way. He got the job done, took away 2 defenders, allowing space the others.

I loved watching Gregan strut about

I would play Wilson, while we are still fighting relegation. After Clarke, a true professional. Once the pressure is off, then Edmundson.

Against 12 men. Just looked at the stats. Chesterfield fouls 11...no bookings. Oldham 5 fouls...4 bookings and a red
-
He didn't get on with Flitcroft, which is how we got him in the 1st place.

Robinson couldn't fix his own tea!

I would say it shows more about Robinsons tactics.:censored:E. Ladapo looked good in is first game for us.....until the clipboard emerged!
-
Probably for saying f........ 5 times in one sentence

Didn't Clarke and Gerard play together at Huddersfield? May be best buddies, which is why he has been training with us for 6 months, and waiting in the wings for a good deal.

The dug out was changed over by Dunne......First change when JS came back last year!

If Craig Davies and Holloway is correct, then SC looks like he has had to get his cheque book out AGAIN. I don't get why he has to wait for the inevitable instead of doing it at the beginning of the season. We have lost valuable support, not only from true supporters, but stay aways as well. I thought he was a business man, and should therefore know you have to speculate to accumulate.

Brand names aren't always the best value!
Edmundson
