  1. tell you what lets all cross our finger, toes, legs, arms and eyes....all together now...izzy wizzy lets get bizzy
  2. you've missed something..its greenbelt protected by a covenant
  3. what should I have for me supper....pie n chips, kebab or KFC...
  4. its quite obvious really....because some egotistical multi millionaire will appear out of nowhere and think...oh yes..that looks like fun...I want that one...(I can't do the voice)
  5. is he related to Eric Fitzsimons, ex RL player and coach..
  6. The proposition is for a 12k seater stadium and facilities to leave us 'self-sufficient'. In todays football world this will never allow us to compete - significant outside investment is essential. I'm looking at ways to make us as attractive as possible to the next egotistical multi-multi-millionaire who fancies owning an English football club. TBH....I don't really want the club owned by an egotistical multi millionaire...who just fancies owning the club...
  7. A decent-size capacity reflects an ambition to play as many big games as possible; a small capacity is about accepting that you are not going to be playing big clubs all that often again. Says who.....?? Oh...you do....righto...
  8. Princess Stephanie....she the younger of the 2... btw...bang on the money H..
  9. Bristol City are in proposal stage of building a new stadium...with a capacity of 29,000 which for a club with premiership ambitions in a city the size of Bristol and considering Rovers support is gash...is i believe a sensible proposition and much along the lines of what TTA/oafc are proposing...it will have an inbuilt design to allow expansion to 40 odd k capacity, if and when they hit the bigtime and possibly England get the 2018 WC and Bristol is selected as a host city.. Bristol City could sustain a 29,000 capacity stadium in the CCC, I doubt we could sustain a 16,000 in CCC never mind Div 1.
  10. I always find if I want to take the piss...I post/say...righto...
  11. gasheads I know, and talked to last night are happy with the fee, but are worried about who is going to score the goals for 'em this season... just checking the odds for the Gas to go down...
  12. As it stands, we are dying as a club and will do unless this move happens. I totally agree with this....time to stop pontificating and secure the future of the club...this is what is important, number one priority imo
  13. what does that mean...? sorry just seen what you have done...who knows..??????????????????????????/
  14. seems to me, and not even reading between the lines that TTA, well SC anyway are saying, THIS happens and NOW or we are out of here...
  15. was still a bit young to be going away on me tod....following season did a few mind...including Liverpool away in the cup...we lost, got battered and had me weeks pocket money and me scarf nicked ...happy days..
  16. 75/76 season, over 22K, probably about 17K + being West Brom, I can still remember looking from the Chaddy acoss to the old RRE and just seeing a mass of green and yellow..I still thank God results elsewhere went their way that day...
  17. Boxing day (literally as well) 1975, 25k+ at BP against Bolton, won 2 -1.....David Shaw brace...happy days...
  18. 27,866 to be excatly exact.. I've never really understood why the attendance was so much bigger than other home games tbh...this is the season we went on a 10 games winning streak, but the peterboro game was after this run had come to an end...interestingly, 1st game of the season, home to Northampton a gate of 8929 and last game of the season, 6600 home to Crewe... all pails to insignificance, with the 41,733 for Liverpool at BP the following year in the 4th round of the FA cup..
