I'm not sure that you can have an official smoking area anywhere within the actual stadium..

all these so called smoking zones are in breach of ground regulations but are overlooked in many situations where you have an open area away from the pitch and away from the actual seats..eg Bristol Rovers A lot of this is down to the stewards discretion and as we all know if its not a possibility at some grounds, those who can't cope head to the bogs...which again is a breach of the regulations...

In any case, the Arabs seem to be putting down real roots at Eastlands. We'll see more of this kind of thing over the coming years, as the oil supplies begin to dwindle and the producers start to diversify their investments, and not just in football.

I really couldn't give a monkey's chuff where they build it, so long as it provides for the future stability of the club and helps the club progress.

and in 5 years time when the Arabs have had enough of their plaything at Eastlands and city go proper tits up...who knows what might happen..??

messed it up in the last few games, were favourites and i think Everton took over, only needed a point or something - typical latics

we lost the last two games of the season to Burnley and Liverpool....Everton won the title on 46 points, Latics on 45...

Interesting fact from this season....we played Bradford Park Avenue, away on Christmas Day and then at home on Boxing day, drawing 1 all away and winning 6 -1 at home...then played City at home on NYD and Bolton, away on the 2nd...drew against City and lost to Bolton

Why else would 3 succesful business men with no interest or affinity to Oldham bother, as long as they have the best interest of the club I'm happy but we should always know they are not fans, It was a business decision to buy the club - the land we are situated on is the only possesion of any note
