  1. Out of contract at the end of next season.
  2. Fleming looked promising early on, But frankly he is horrendus, awful kicking, :censored:e handling Makes at least a couple of mistake every game. For example, he was playing so badly that a couple of weeks ago he got dropped for our 20 year old goalkeeper who has never played a senior game, sadly our 20 year old keeper broke his leg in his second game against Dundee, a bad break at that Clicky Now you would think that with no other keep we would play Fleming till the end of the season...We have infact signed St Mirrens 3rd choice keeper because we deem it better than having to play Fleming in goals, Take him back, we will not be enquiring again
  3. Naw He's performed rather well in every game and you can see he is growing in confidence with ever game, would love to see him at eep next season
  4. Had more time to judge him and he is looking like a cracking bit of buisness by Macca, Saved a penalty tonight (sinse he is a local Dunfermline lad he must have been delighted with it) and kept a clean sheet on Saturday, saving three one on ones.
  5. Played again as we beat Dumbarton 5-0 in the first round of the league cup....saved 2 average one on ones. Interesting that practically the same Coventy team we ran over drew with Everton 2-2 today... Also as a side note I know his family definitely prefer him to come back up here...
  6. He looks like a good keeper, Made some good saves allready, quite vocal etc, I'm sure thats his third or fourth game and he's played reasonably well in all of them, game against Arbroath he should've came for a cross but apart from that has done everything well. Our camera guy doesn't know the concept of zoom Crowds have been on the drop sinse we have gotten relegated we were averaging 6000-7000 in the spl, but then playing Ayr United is slightly less exciting than playing Rangers or Celtic, we showed what we were capable off last season in our game against Aberdeen in the scottish cup where the attendance was listed as 9000, although Dunfermline do lie about attendances in the Scottish cup I feel so to give less money to the opposition, attendance was more like 10,000 Highlights can be seen here, was a cracking game, the replay ended up that we beat them on penalty's(a good 1,000 odd travelled up from fife and spent the majority of the game topless in Aberdeen on a Tuesday night, Glad to say I was one of them.) the celebrations were fantastic. In the last 5 years we have been in 4 national cup finals 5 semi finals and been in europe twice...Most teams wouldn't mind that
  7. Couple of you may be interested to know Fleming played the whole game tonight as Dunfermline convincingly beat Coventry 1-0, should've been more.
  8. If he plays well he will be 1st choice, if he's not good enough to beat our under 21 keeper then he isn't good enough.
  9. Greg Fleming not ruling out this move to Dunfermline as a permanent one, good to hear
  10. You missed me really I don't think many pars fans want to either Indeed, was a season ticket holder during the calderwood era and was at the Semi final v Falkirk last year, good interview on the Dunfermline official website with him.
  11. I don't support any English team, I see no point in supporting a team you will never see or never feel any passion for really, I saw no option indicating that I supported no club and sinse Sir Alex Fergusson is rather well thought of in Dunfermline(played here and had a rather good record) and sinse I have seen Manchester in the flesh... Poor you Airdrie are a poor first division team, hence why they got relegated, IMO I'd say Dunfermline at this moment in time is a bottom 6 Spl team, but sinse there is only 1 promotion spot it's an exceptionally hard league to get out off. The way I see it is that Greg is guaranteed(more or less) 1st team football here with a club with a good set up, Down in Oldham he would've been in and out the team, he will progress more in this season with us than what he would've down south, we get a good keeper and develop him(hopefully aiding us in promotion) and in return you get a better keeper back, everyone is a winner. Greg was also a local lad who supported Dunfermline so it must have been a choice which really appealed to him, nothing more to it really.
  12. Thank f*ck im only coming on this forum once, you do talk some pish. First of all how do you know he would be coached better? Dunfermline have a specialist goalkeeper coach and have had for some time our so called sub standard coaching was key to McGregor staying at Rangers and becoming an international goalkeeper, who was the last keeper to play international football after leaving your club? Your cheap shots at our so called 4th rate league are amusing, I watched you league last season, it's awful. The standard in the 1st division is easily equal to mid table in your league. Considering our record or improving loan players yes he will be improved, strikers like Leigh Griffiths are far better than what he he will have experienced in your league. You need to lose the big team mentality.
