I think the Globe pub has shut down now unfortunately.

He won't be cup tied as he didn't play yesterday. Please see below
Oldham Athletic have been drawn away at Nottingham Forest in the Third round of the FA cup. Matt Derbyshire the on loan Nottingham Forest striker will have returned to his parent club and could end up playing against his current team mates from Boundary Park. Oldham qualified for the third round following a 3-1 win over Doncaster Rovers a game in which youth sensation Mart Derbyshire scored 2 goals for the club.
A) Cup-tied.
b )Youth sensation? He is about 30!

Anyone know the normal ticket price at theres
Normally its £26!!! Wont be that for us I dont think.
-
We should be looking at 100k+ in gate money then?
Yeah 90-100k. Thats not bad, could've been a lot worse (MK Dons/Trannies away come to mind).
-
We've not done too badly against Forest in recent years have we? Good city, cracking ground. Could've been a lot worse.
I remember drawing 0-0 at their place on a cold tuesday night, and then beating them 5-0 on Boxing day at ours, back when Calderwood was their manager.
-
What's the average attendance at forrest? Just thinking of gate money!
18,000-20,000, more for Derby/Leicester etc. I reckon they'll be 18,000 for us, and about £20 to get in.
-
Its a nice ground, nice city too. Not too far from Oldham either. Just been on their forum and they seem to think it being a tough game against us.
-
IMO, it is a winnable game against a team not in great form, with fans who get on their team's back whenever they dont look like performing.
I live in Nottingham, and have been to the odd Forest game this season, including the 0-0 draw against Blackburn. If they play like they did that day, and we play like we did yesterday, we will do them over. Plus, any team that loses to Ipswich doesnt deserve a good cup run!
-
It wouldnt cost much to get rid-the benefits of a 12 month rolling contract. I say we cut our losses now.
-
2 wins in 19. Relegation form. With these players we should be comfortably mid table. Get effin rid, fed up.
-
Yes we should have, on paper, beaten Scunny, but football isnt played on paper.
We had 18 shots to their 15, I think a draw is probably a fair result. A draw away at Brentford on Saturday will suit me just fine. Lets stay unbeaten.

big lads up top
This is the only problem. We cant play hoof ball, if we can play it on the ground then we'd be much better off.
-
Bouzanis
Grounds M'Voto Byrne Wabara
Croft Wes Furman Montano
Smith Derbyshire
I think we'll be playing in a 442 formation (At last!) at least initially. Strong team on paper, surprised that Smith has been given a chance (again, at last!) but I reckon he'll do well tonight against a shaky scunny back 4.
-
Did anyone else hear the cretin who immediately after the first goal went on started slagging off the team, Tarky, Montano and the management? Half an hour into the season and the players are having to hear that, it's rubbish. Some of our fans need to gain some perspective.
-
You'd think being in a crap 3 sided ground, with a shoe-string first 11 and dwindling support would make me jealous of your Franchise FC?
Give over, we have HISTORY, and granted, we may not be able to match you in terms of finances and players but in terms of commitment from the players and the devotion of the fans (which, may I add, I heard none of your lot sing at the ground today) we are a REAL club.
The fans I met after the game today were decent people. You, sir, have proven to be the cock of Milton Keynes. Congrats. See you in League One next year.

All I can say is that Marsh-Brown is going to throw away his talent by acting like a spoilt brat. Good riddance.
-
I watched Lincoln a few times when Grimes played for them and he was quality at League 2 level. It's likely Rochdale will keep him, but in the event that he goes, we should do anything we can to sign him, he's what we need, and I reckon he would play well with Tonks up front.
-
Bloody hell we've had some good players at this club who have gone on to bigger and better things.
-
That is still one of my favourite latics goals. Loved being there.

I'm sorry, but today was a poor excuse for a game. I know Bury played their part in making it the dullest game of the season, but by god, what on earth has Dickov had the players doing all week?
Robbie looked like he couldnt be arsed, Bunn is NEVER going to be a lone striker upfront, and Millar's selection for NI baffles me still.
Yes we have 6/7 players aged 19/20, yes it was two games away from the end of the season, but the only good thing I can say about today was the crowd.
We need changes in every aspect of the team. It looks like Matt Smith will be our only contracted striker come next saturday if Kuqi and Reid are released, which is a worry.
I just feel that in terms of the costs of petrol, lunch and the game itself, the players could have performed a little bit more to earn their wage.
-
I like Bouzanis anyway, think he has the potential to be a decent keeper for us next season.
-
Probably too early to be talking about transfer. Personally, I reckon we'll only make 2 or 3, the aim is to keep Kieran Lee this summer I think. Make him the highest paid player, we need him next season. Same for Robbo.
-
Great, that's just what the players needed to re-build their already shattered confidence.
I hate football fans sometimes.
I'm starting to dislike our own supporters. It's madness. We are where we are because a) People dont go, which leads to b)Having no money to buy a team full of decent players, ending up at c)Lower half of the league.
If i'm honest, some fans need to get a grip. We're doing well to survive in a league which is getting more and more competitive each season with not a pot to piss in, really. Yes, the management is poor at times, yes, the players arent all Pele's, but the will to do well is there.
What is the point of singing that to the players? Is that going to make Robbo et al stay next season? I think not.

How on earth his played 45 games for us I'll never know. Cant fault his attitude but his football ability is extremely limited. Will probably find himself back at Bradford next year, probably his level. Or, that may well be our level too. Bugger.

I follow the Chron sport reporter on twitter, in the post match conference Dickov has said he has backing of the board.
Bugger.
