Lee and Stephens played CM against City in the reserves lancashire cup thingy, they played superbly and we ran out winners. They both were shafted by Shez, being payed a salary to train every day, then, when thrown in they wern't fit at all. Shame on whoever made the decision to have no reserve team.

Nothing to do with having to pay bury when he makes appearances I'm sure!!

For me Eardley is the great enigma - on his game he looks a class above - but he is often caught out of position and simply does not look like a full back.

 

Play him in the middle of the park - that's where you will see the best of the lad.

He actually looked pretty decent on the wing last season. Not a striker, but he's got a bit of pace and can hold the ball up. Played a key part in our last minute winner against Walsall at home. Looked really good against Dale in the Carling Cup.

 

Stockport fans think he's crap. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. I'm very sceptical but he's got a fresh start now.

My approach to the 92 Club is to only count a ground when I have seen Latics play at that ground. With that in mind I have seen the boys in blue play on 75 different grounds including the Old Wembley. But given the number of new grounds, there are many that will have to wait for a while methinks...looking forward to St Mary's this season and also Eastfields and Emirates in the future.

Some good numbers in there quite happy to be in the top 5 bracket of the current grounds at my 'tender age'
