    In the Advertiser Deano says: “I’m just glad to be back playing but I thought the team did really well and thoroughly deserved the win [stockport].

     

    “Hopefully towards the end of the season, I’ll start scoring more goals and helping the team out. We’re going to be pushing for promotion but I think top six will do us.

     

    “There were two or three others in front of me but I’ve kept my head down and got back in the team.

     

    “In training, you know you have to work harder than the person who’s in the same position as you, but I think it’s healthy that we do have competition.”

     

     

    Why "towards the end of the season" - is that after his rumoured loan period ends? :unsure:

    Would sound good if everyone sings it, but its one of them that not many people will join into because they don't know the words to it

     

    Now the creator of this song is believed to be printing song sheets off for Scunthorpe but, alas, i'm sure we'll resort to the song that went out in 2001 Stand up if you love oldham yawwwwwwwwwn.

    Well seen as I've been cleaning my house all day (yes cleaning how awful) and I've come on here and seen the usual Hughes nonsense and the very upsetting news that the ginger prince may be on his way my day has now become somewhat of a gloomy one, plus I have a headache which is not drink induced so should I die before Scunny away please find this little ditty that was sent to me about the BIG FAT CHUNK - DEAN WINDASS

     

    Dunno where it came from originally, my mate Ben Courtney sent it me

     

    And no matter how awful it is it's better than some of the crap we sing, there is a guy who I know by name (but won't name because you know the mods will shout) name rhymes with FLEA PEGG, the lad is about 7foot tall dark hair, so if you read this please take note your songs are crap.

    no one of the lads had just come off a 2 year banning order the police hasnt enforce the conditions of the previous banning order, the guys was hit with on the spot fines of 80quid for section 5 the police couldnt ban the them cos they where fighting with oldham fans and not classed as a football related violence so the club hit them with letters saying they are banned from life from BP

     

     

    please get your facts right before postin mr wardlelatic

    so why are the club persisting in saying we have had no offers for hughes......and why isnt there anything on the os to say he is given permission to discuss a possible move....

     

     

    Who knows, but i'm under good authority Sat will be the last game, if he is still here.

     

    I'd personally go non league hopefully find a gem, or get Benson from Daggers.

    With you saying '3 lightweight midfielders', i presume you mean Taylor, Whits and Smalley - Which 'heavyweight' midfielders would you like to replace them with. Allott out of the 5 is the only one with any 'bite'. - I agree we are a bit powder puff in that area, in fact - My late Granny 'sponge gums' who had false teeth for 20 years had more bite than Whits, Taylor and Smalley.

    So I will ask again, which 3 midfielders do you want to play instead with more bite??

     

    And Senor is spot on, we so badly lack a player of Murray, Kilkenney and Wellens' ability.

    If Sky promote that properly it could be included in the 2012 Olympics. :grin:

     

     

    A couple of innocent but drunk Latics fans have ended up in court because of all this as well, yesterday justs gets better.

     

    The lad who caused all the 'City trouble' is a City fan & Latics when it suits him, naturally when Latics lose 5-0 he is City again & he escaped getting nicked as well. Mega!!

     

    Nice one to all your fans complaining about the fighting as well, perhaps if you had tried sorting it out as well rather than chanting at the drunk fans at the front it would not of made sky.

     

    Fans of the year, I think not.
