I don't want to report anybody. You post a lot and I'll never match that . Your opinions are obviously read a lot and I'm sure respected. I just thought that it wasn't necessary to be rude.

I'm finding it difficult to understand this customer perspective. Surely a customer is someone who purchases the product or service? otherwise they are former or potential customers. But if they don't purchase things from the club whether it's a ticket or a shirt or whatever, they can't be classed as a current customer. Let alone a supporter - or am I completely up the wrong tree?

I think you've probably talked abiout this before I joined . If you have is there somebody who can succintly explain?

I checked out young Droylsden winger Shaun Whalley last night and was impressed with his excellent ball control. sheer pace and clever distribution.

He has a powerful shot too and has scored 12 goals in 15 appearances this season.

IMO he is far better than what Latics have got, my only doubt against him is maybe a lack of stamina, but with full time training that shoud improve.

Perhaps others who have seen him can give their opinion on him ?

Do you think that Latics can afford a decent enough offer to him? I've heard that youngsters at League 1 and 2 clubs get about £500/700 per week. If this lad has a day job and is being topped up by coin from Droylsden maybe a full time football career just doesnt make financial sense. I've read that quite a few non leaguers prefer to remain just that because of the money.

they need to start showing some plans, to make the fans abit more settled about the situation. i was really looking forward to the oldham arena when the plans where made public.

Some "fans" are waiting for the plans so that they can moan again.

Today was alot better for that pathetic excuse of a football match on Wednesday but we had several chances in the first half. Even I could have done better with the one on one that parker put over the bar. Once we went one down that was it. This was penneys team, the lowest scorers in the league (a probem which he has failed to address), the most boring team in the league to watch.

 

My only concern is regardless of who is brought in to replace Penney if he goes, they will have a very hard task of keeping us up (however I aint having this as an excuse to keep penney, he built this squad, he picked this team and the tactics, he has to be held accountable for its shortfall)

The simplest chance was Smalley's.
