    Yeah, how did they have nerve to rename Pine Villa to OLDHAM Athletic when it was so close to the border with Royton and CHadderton which were different local councils then?

    Which town didn't get a Football League team until 1974? Yet league football had been played at the same ground for years?

    Have no prob getting to new ground from Shaw myself. Dead easy on bus, about another 5 /7 mins in car/ would be easy when trams run. Some of these who are moaning won't find any difficuklty in getting there for a big match. Lol.

    I think people are looking for excuses for not going. Yes it's alot of money but I'll be there . I's been likely that it would be £27 from the beginning of the season. you could have saved up!!

    Sheridan had a good first seasn. His second was so so. His third was very disappointing. By then he was hardly a novice and in all three seasons hisbudget wasn't miserly. This year he has got a Chesterfield team who finished in the top 10 in the last two seasons to - the top 10.

    I think it's interesting how sme people on here put forward names as "being worth a punt" orsimilar words about a loan - but others say that we only get poor strikers on loan. Do we want to get only people we are very confident in or just someone for the sake of it?

    I was just getting to build a relationship with Mr 0000. He seemed a gentleman though a tad over emotional. By the way he described himself as a "mini crop". What did that mean?
