    Kennedy agrees move to league 2 club

    Someone that has actually seen him play live more than once- Rocky Latic- reckons he could do a job/be decent for us. Yes he's plays/ed for Darlo and yes they are in League 2 but they did well this year and last. I'm not in favour of us being linked with every Darlo player but we haven't we've only been linked with the better ones- Abbot, Kennedy. Its no different than at any other club when a new manager comes in they often sign at least one or two players from their previous club. If DP thinks a player is good enough for us no matter who he plays for then that will do for me- I'd trust his opinion on players before I trust anyone's on here. Like someone said we haven't had a lot of success in recnt times with established quality from the Championship/ Prem.

    Sharp - Disappointed (Wanted Ritchie)

    Warnock - Indifferent (Had a good record at this level)

    Ritchie - Very Pleased (Only logical appointment at the time)

    Wadsworth - Strange

    Dowie - Very Pleased

    Talbot - Not impressed

    Moore - Delighted (Actually thought was a great appointment for us)

    Sheridan - Very Pleased.

    Royle - Worried. (Thought Shez deserved till end of season)

    Penney - Pleased.

    we had some shockers in 90/91 but a lot of us only got to discuss them at or before the match itself or maybe at work or school in the unlikely event there was a fellow non Utd or City fan there.

     

    Dead right..I remember going to Port Vale after we had won the first 6 games of the season and losing 1-0...the amount of negativity from the travelling fans was unbelievable. Mind you Moulden did miss a sitter at the end.... B)

    First game Ive been to this season. Not the worst nil nil i've seen to be fair and thought we dominated without having a cutting edge. Hughes worked hard up front and thought Byfield did OK first half but faded.

     

    Maher for me was excellent and the only criticism I would have was taking him off. Should have been Allott for Whittaker for me.

     

    All in all, one of those days. Actually lucky not to lose as Carlisle had a couple of great chances near the end.

     

    KTF all, stay positive. Talk of Shez out is utterly ridiculous.

    Give over. There are posters on here who have a point to prove (about Hughes, Shez, Gregan, TTA or whatever) and they make it vociferously when Latics haven't had a good result. So don't come the moral high grounder. Having been to peterboro and witnessed a great performance I was well hacked off by some of the rubbish on here after the Leton Orient game.

     

    Tell you what Jocko, I am chuffed to mintballs by the score today and I'll happily toast many more of them. I'm all for unity but that's in defeat and draw as well as victory.

     

    Yep, this board is much busier when we lose. Wont be much on here tonight. Great result. Anyone who questions Shez's position needs their head read. Glad Maher and Lee started today though, and think Allott was lucky to keep his place. Change of midfield personnel clearly did the trick.
