Whilst I agree that the charge is rather mean and excessive I suspect more and more people are taking advantage of this and it's becoming time consuming for the ticket office staff and has been put in place to discourage fans from moving stand willy nilly, maybe they could allow one free move and then charge for any subsequent moves?

At the absolute least they should lower the charge to £3 and have it only applicable if the swap is made on the day. I.E no charge if done in advance of the matchday

Not true as it was the club's  policy to swap tickets for free last season.

You can't have members of office staff interpreting things diffrently one week to the next.

The official policy which affects 99 per cent of tickets for any event is that they are not transferable and can only be redeemed for the seat stated on the ticket. A customer isn't entitled to exchange their ticket for another seat.

The club allowing fans to swap has always been at their discretion and they are entitled to charge for it, they're not breaking any laws.

However I agree that it's poor form from the club to charge, £5 is especially steep.

  3. We’ve been literally complaining for over 10 years that we never sign a quality, ball playing midfielder, that we’ve “never replaced Wellens”. We finally get one and we release him.

We literally complain every season that we never sign a consistent goal scorer, last season we signed two, one of which we had the option to keep. We released him.

We deserve to be the bland, regressive club that we have become.

Game of Thrones is ok but it's got to be the most over rated series ever...

It's better than okay. Even if you can't get into it, it's easy to see why it's such a popular show. It's a complete epic, every episode, high budget, brilliantly acted, directed, top notch cinematography. And it's based on a book series which is a equally as enthralling.

I couldn't get into Breaking Bad. I'd hardly call it over rated. I can see why people like it, it just wasn't for me.

Calling something over rated, is a tad pretentious just because you're not a fan of it imo.

Would Byrne want to play for a manager who was so quick to side against him?

Maybe not but he should want to play for himself. It's not like he has any other options.

If he does get a chance to play, he ought to play well in spite of the manager in order to put himself in the shop window for January or next season.

  6. If the club want him off the books and if what Byrne has done is that bad that it constitutes gross misconduct (ie assault - intentionally breaking another players leg) then why haven't they just fired him? There would be no pay off required.

The longer this goes on it just appears that he's not favoured by the owner and/or the manager, at which point he has to be given a road back into the team.

I despise religion. I’m aethiest & believe some books written between 2,000 & 1,400 years ago are the route of much of societies problems today.

Religion’s probably the biggest contributing factor to how progressive, cultured and civilised Western society is.

As for LGBTQ+~$[@, whatever they call themselves these days, they can get to fuck. They’re a political group, not a civil rights one. To give you an example, if you’re transgender, but a conservative one, you ain’t welcome to align yourself with them. It’s politics disguised as civil rights.
