  1. Regards tarks performance - given the circumstances of the teams current form, his age and lack of experience, away from home to the countrys form team etc, this was not an easy match to make his debut in. All these points considered, i still stand by my opinion that, taking all these factors into consideration, it was a fantastic debut for the lad. Another great, home grown prospect who hopefully can blossom into a decent, no nonsense centre half with a bright future ahead of him.

  2. What a load of rubbish! The players couldn't care less today! Poor from start to finish, no shots again apart from 30 yard no hopers! What has happened to the spirit?? Orient dominated from start to finish and should have scored more! Stephens was shocking and Tonk did nothing all game but that was nothing compared to the shift White put in! can't see a win coming anytime soon.

Yeah I went, it was as bad as anything under penny

Tarky looked nervy but did ok, would still rather trotman though, mantom did alright when he come on for furman but after the 80 minutes I had seen before that anything that could string a pass would have looked ok

Sorry, we must have been at different matches.

Tarky had a magnificent debut yesterday and orient certainly didn't dominate the game.

They had the best chances but we were certainly good enough for the point.

We just sat off Mpoku (?) just a little too long before he got his wonder shot in.

Certainly nowhere near as bad as what we witnessed under Penney.

  3. Any real ale drinkers might want to give this place a look too (close to Leyton Midland Road station)

King William IV Hotel and Bar

    Address: 816, High Road, Leyton, London, E10 6AE 0208-556-2460

Had a trip over here to check out a few of the many, many brews on tap a just £1.99 a pint :drinking45:

A proper old east end spit and sawdust type pub.

The Romanov stout (almost like a guiness liqueur) is a measly 12.1% and the Elizabethan (iirc) which isn't on currently is a slightly stronger 22% strength

Would love to see chucking out time at this place on a saturday night

  4. 7.30am, in relation to the £2 offer tonight. Asked about the ground situation and quote "We're hopeful to be at bp next season".

A definite change in language towards the council saying "their hands are tied" rather than they're tosspots.

Sounds like he's talking to the council again? Hopeful...

  5. Right, being orgainsed, I managed to bag some cheap tickets from Manchester Picadilly on Sat 12th March (Leyton Orient Away)

to London Euston and returning on the Sunday evening.

Unfortunately I've had to change my travel plans and now can't use the Sunday 13th evening return tickets. :disappointed:

I'm ideally looking for £20 for the pair if anyone fancies staying over on the saturday night.

The train leaves Euston at 2125 and arrives at Piccadilly shortly after midnight, so plenty of drinking time.

Obviously you would need to sort out your own Saturday tickets but as of time of writing, there are still some cheap £11.50 morning tickets available.

If hotels are needed too, there are some half price Hiltons in central london if you book this weekend.

£80-ish per room is a pretty good price using a 10% hotels.com voucher code I can let you have.

    PM me if you're interested.

    Cheers,

    Matt
