I think it's good to see he has pride where he is playing. Probably the complete opposite to the likes of Chris Eagles who l can imagine would look down his nose at us.
Good luck to the lad.
Chris Eagles was really arrogant and entitled from what I saw in Morocco. Really wouldn’t want him to sign for us at all.
Also, I was wondering (in hope) whether Vera was there because he was maybe a ‘great guy’ to have around the dressing room. Nope. First on the bus after the game - he sat on there while the others posed with Ernie Flag, ate on a table for one at the other side of the bar from the rest of the team at the airport, and sat on his own playing Candy Crush on his phone while the rest of the squad queued together.

Be signing for Fleerwood Town, Steve Eyre is a huge fan of his, weird how he's deemed surplus for us but is turning out for an established League 1 team, nonsensical on every level given what we are lacking.

Looked comfortable with the ball at his feet , always wanted the ball..time will tell what will come of him on a cold and windy night in div 2
He was bloody awful in Morocco. Ran round looking bewildered and piled in 2-footed a few times. Good news if he’s now showing more - he’s been kept around long enough that I expect we’ll sign him.

Of course you would, you and others are desperate for these shenanigans to return to small inaudible murmurs so our club continues at its slow wood rotting progress.
1500 people turned up today, demonstrating that 1500 people are happy for this regime to continue as it is. People will come and attack this and scream but that’s only because they’re uncomfortable with the true reality that lies behind the scenes at BP.
Fire at will old boys
The club is a clusterfuck.
But taking anything from the attendance at a charity game for a much-loved dead player is clutching at straws. There’s no need to clutch at straws - the club pretty much whacks it all out there on a plate - use some of that.

I'm not saying it is. Wouldn't want to sign him.
Point was would you rather watch us in the prem with no morals or be a happy little family club in the 9th tier.
The latter.

That wasn’t funny when it was done for Chris Eagles and it ain’t getting funny any time soon.
He wasn’t funny either. I’m hoping his surly, entitled attitude on the plane home from Morocco was because he’d been told he wasn’t getting a contract.

Bad jokes aside of course, he is missed by very many people who only knew him via social media, as well as his nearest and dearest
He’d love the bad jokes. He had loads of them

Leellover - you can take this as a compliment if you like - but I only understand about 1 in 10 of your posts.

It’s the same reason the gym has to put the shutters down during matches. The match is a product which isn’t the North Stand’s to sell
What about the residents of the apartments in the corner at Leyton Orient who stand in their balcony and watch the game?

I know exactly what he’d have thought! And he’d have posted it in his usual dry and witty way, pulling no punches!

Plane full of Oldham! Apparently the team are coming back on the same flight as us on Monday and are a little apprehensive (I paraphrase)

Maybe he's sick of applying for other jobs and thinks there's a good chance he'll be first team manager by Christmas.

Agadir is some 300 miles and 4 and 3/4 hours on the road from Casablanca. I don’t imagine many will make the trip and/or Hassania fans will turn up? It’d be like asking Carlisle fans to pop down to Brunton Park to watch Bristol City take on East Fife.
I hope not. They look scary mental

I see we sold a mere 104 tickets last week to season card holders for the FGR game
how many did we take there last season? 800? Interesting to see how many this time around
To be fair, it was a new ground last year. It isn’t for 844 this year.

I like this.
Not it bad considering the “rumour” until recently was AL wanted to sack off the youth set up.
And then he realised how cheap they come and that they’re classed as home-grown for quota purposes?

Looking forward to the angry rants when fans who have paid to go out there realise the games are being played behind closed doors...
If they are, we’ve ticked a new country off and have more time drinking and eating in the sun.
Pretty sure they wont be though.

No WWC thread? Shocking. Patriarchy.
I decided against starting one after the last thread about women’s football turned into a sexist free-for-all.

I really don't have an opinion on you one way or another. I don't know you.
Fucking lol. I have no words. You’ve known me by name, face and internet name since 2005. That’s about as disrespectful as you can get. Well done.

All of it really. If you want a conversation I'll PM you my mobile. This thread if for the topic.
I don’t want a conversation with you. I also don’t want to be accused of being in a click - if you know me at all, which you clearly don’t, but think you do, I very much have my own mind and opinions, as does @jorvik_latic.
So maybe just stay away from making weird comments about me towards my husband or my husband towards me, and I’ll carry on not responding to your weird comments on here. Then you can get back to blanking me at matches as you have done for the last 5 years just because we disagreed on a message board.

That's your opinion, you couldn't be further from the truth, but it's noted
Seriously, which bit couldn’t be further from the truth? I’d really like to get where you’re coming from.

Lags, no answer? No? You’ve made it personal. I wasn’t going to comment for fear of you telling me I’m in a click (as you are wont when losing an argument) - but well done, I’m biting. Who’s intimidating who now?
You blunder onto here like Barry, pretending you’ve learned a lot from your previous mistakes (or whatever you said). You ask why people don’t like Barry. Then disagree with everyone. You put horrendously weak arguments forward about why we should all like Barry and disagree when people point out how he’s fucked most of those up too. Then you kick into passive-aggressive mode saying everyone who dislikes Barry is a sheep, anyone deciding not to give money to Abdallah is a sucker, and anyone who agrees with anyone else on here (but disagrees with you) is in a clique.
You are a hypocrite. You have too many personal issues with people on here to hear what people are saying. Crack on. If you’re trying to do Barry a favour on this thread, you’re not.
