LJ said there were 12 team options v Stevenage, the challenge for you now is to display all 12.
He also listed a multitude of attacking options, far too many to scout against
-
It was said a contract won't stop any transfer, bale is a perfect example. If things are agreed he will go. Right now nothing is agreed.

Hypnotic isn't he?
Yes, in a non sexual way haha, and I never asked about the shoes.

Good summary Claire, I'd love to go to the next mtm it's infectious, listening to Lee.

Chris Killen (post c Moore) cost £58,000 per goal

Nah, balls to that. Glad they're doing well, but don't want them ruining our pitch...
Now then, if anyone saw Warrington v hull at the gayfarm, the pitch looked immaculate. No football all summer only rugby.
-
I'd just like to be the first to complain about not being selected.....I'm not arsed either way, it's just nice to be first for something.

No! Why the hell not!? I am also indeed the new Latvian centre back.
I meant your sik ryhmes comment, your spelling not mine
-
Certainly origanal. F I get an auditon then ill be sure to squeeze in some sik ryhmes. Cheers.
Hmmm, I take it you're joking?

I wouldn't mind them back at BP if they got promoted, I went to watch Rochdale Hornets a couple of weeks ago and I enjoyed the event, Spotland is a quality set up
Careful, you'll need a tin hat with that comment

On paper they're a much safer bet than us, but that's only because you know what type of football you'll get from Moore over the season whereas our team is a bit of an unknown quantity. I'd say our ceiling is higher though.
Our ceiling is higher? With rugby Ron I'd say the sky is the limit for the dippers.....HOOF!!!!

Kids who are reading the thread; football never used to be like this, we used to go to the match and get the Pink Final after. If we won great, if we lost, the dog got a kicking. All forgotten about on Sunday morning as you trawl through Saturdays results and tables over bacon and eggs.
I blame Jimmy Hill and Championship Manager.
Golden Gordon shows this off to a tee, haggerty f, haggerty r.....

'Joker' played against Stuart Hall - his sentence doubled to 30 months.
Damn I'm just too slow lol

I'm in
Martin Hall

Returning to the title of the thread,Why would the manager get involved with light emitting diodes???
Money saving on behalf of Mr Corney, whilst creating a soothing and relaxing environment in the players lounge and changing rooms. The Away team get naked fluorescents with old chokes that smell fishy when burnt out.

Mark Hotte erm....
Now there's a lad who could head a ball better than anyone I've ever seen......when it was on the ground.
-
Brilliant response.
Sorry I was pushed for time

It's easy to say our defence is bad this year and we will be poor as usual. I am sure you will all find a way to sugar coat it and say we our going to be playing like Barcelona. 5-0 to Burnley indicates that we will be under the cosh like last season.
:censored: off

My thoughts exactly. Can I put something out there, LDJ sees Mellor as an emergency CB or to bring him on if we are holding a lead. LDJ knows Mellor is a CM, but he wants him playing as much as possible to keep his fitness up. The best way to do that is to play him at CB, as he can play 60-90 minutes there but would only really play 30-45 minutes in CM. Playing him at CB also helps Mellor work on those skills/aspects that a CB and a good CM need like positioning and strength.
Not playing Mellor in CM also allows Wes, Smith and Rodgers more time on the pitch. I fully expect us to sign a CB on loan, that player will be getting match time with his parent club at the moment, leaving us a place to squeeze Mellor into our team for the reasons above.
These pre season games are to serve a manager's purpose not to play your best starting 11 every game. Tactics, positions every aspect are done for the manager to get what he wants for the players, not so we can see who will be where v Stevenage.

Can't remember if lj's substitution policy was covered. He said he's not scared of using subs for tactical/poor display or to admit he ballsed up on starting formation.
He's also mindful of having to play different systems due to weather, pitch condition or opposition.
