Anyway, I don’t expect everyone to agree with my opinion but would be interested to hear what others thought after yesterday seeing how the reaction after the game has barely been mentioned.
It's pretty much spot on. I stayed after the final whistle and made it clear that I wasn't happy and they'd be better off just leaving the pitch. However, some of them, I feel genuinely sorry for such as Desire who is young, miles away from home, trying his chase their dream but has been thrown into a hopeless situation - probably as a result of some shady agent dealings. He's probably not good enough but is here now anyway but similar to Fage (who looks more promising), our recruitment policy has left them with no senior pros to guide them and this is where I felt the likes of Nepomuceno & Maouche had failed to step up. In retrospect though, it's probably not in their character so they shouldn't be blamed either (However, I'd like to think that Maouche would acknowledge this & volunteer to step aside as captain when someone moer capable is available - as highly unlikely as that is). I honestly think a small handful of the squad have some individual ability but, as a football team, there's very little to suggest that results are about to improve. The complete absence of guile means that they just don't know how to win games and are unlikely to learn. Unfortunately for them, they will always be the focal point for the most important aspect of the club.

Club controlled hospital parking up 67% to £5.00.
Not having the sign at the bottom of the lane was sneaky and underhand.
Left it to the bloke collecting the money to tell everyone, rather than any kind of notice. Just leaves a bad taste.

As shite as it is, isn't it part of the T&Cs around purchasing a season ticket that you can be moved to a different part of the ground? Certainly when buying one for the North Stand initially, we didn't get to actually sit in it but weren't offered a cash alternative.

But what the f*ck is this "it" that you expect me to believe?
So far, all you've put forward is anecdotal evidence and expect people to accept it as gospel.
State clearly your evidence but don't just push Scholes' comments as proof positive because, from my perspective, he was using the "interference" argument to cover his managerial shortcomings.
Out of interest, what is it you would need to see (or expect to be) presented in order to be persuaded that there was interference around his (non) selection?

Without doubt!
Couldn't agree with that. We'd be top half of the Championship but I doubt we'd get out of it.

Does anyone know how many previous employees are taking us to a tribunal over their removal from these lists? I've read on Twitter that the kit man and Chief Exec have been paid up but don't know how many more are taking their dismissals further. I expect Gerrard would be one & possibly Philliskirk to be another.

Reeks of "We don't need a goalkeeper coach for a couple of months, so why should I pay for one?"

There is nothing in that letter that needed to be kept from the fans?
Pretty much nailed on that even an intention to sue PS will now make the press (especially as suing someone for £175 for quitting their job after a month seems either fanciful or something that we should do more often).
Looks like it has been leaked by one of Chuckle's FB group 'mates' - would be interesting to know how it fell into his hands.

I was very keen to see if the debt had been dented at all and if the Necarcu loan/debenture had been paid off as per the sale to Abdallah.
We'd already know that wouldn't we as mortgages/ charges are updated as and when they are incurred and settled...which this one hasn't been.
-
I've rarely known anyone use social media to post so much offensive, racist bile than 'Chuckle' and yet he seems to be trying to position himself into a role with the club. Strange times.

I think there are strongish feelings on Twitter for a protest (and maybe to some extent on here too) but I don't think that is necessarily representative of much of our support who probably don't bother reading anything on either platform. Certainly there's a few around me that only hear about things to with the club if it makes the papers and, even then, they'd still turn up. Today's attendance was probably down on where it would have been with another half dozen points but I don't think there are too many (maybe a few hundred - but not thousands) who would likely boycott because of things being said on the internet.

It'd be great if this was the beginning of a sustained period of success but given that history is often a better indicator of the future rather than blind hope, I reckon he'll last to that couple of weeks in the summer when the season ticket money is in but none of the ambitious transfer targets are.

These are things you (and everyone else obviously) want him to do. This is not a challenge. Kusunga wants to challenge him. How?
Couldn't care less about him having English lessons. I don't think the any lack of information is because of a lack of vocabulary and beyond that, I don't see him suddenly wanting to morph into Andy Holt or Darragh McAnthony as a club mouthpiece anyway. I'm also not sure that club shops cover their costs these days - if the high street is struggling then I'd expect launching a traditional club shop to be a great way to lose cash.

Even the most ardent Lemsagam fan/supporter must be questioning themselves over this one, surely....?
Shipping out players that don't meet Scholes' high standards.

Everytime I think Lemsagem may be the biggest weapon for his tantrum sackings and team interference, I remember that Corney decided that he should have a brick in the new stand with his name written in gold letters.

Did any of the press have an opportunity to ask questions about the Oldham link?
Yep. Scholes said he'd like to go into coaching at some point in the next year or two but had no contact with Oldham. Really didn't sound like anything was happening.

It was exactly that. Clarke came to the bench before the change and he chatted to the manager ref the substitution. (I sit in main stand lower so close to them) Simple as mistaking number 42 for 22.
Although the conspiracy theories are more interesting....
Clarke was on the other side of the pitch when the board went up.

I wasn't there, so I didn't see any of this. But is it possible that it was always going to be Branger substituted, but 42 went up instead, which Clarkey spotted and drew attention to it before the wrong substitution was made? Just a thought.
Nah, I had the perfect view of it all and it was definitely Clarke making a call to change the sub. Pete Wild has spoken on his open approach to how things operate and how important Clarke is to that. Clarke clearly doesn't want the job but I suspect he's more than happy to dip his toes in the water by being something much more than a senior pro.
-
AL to discuss Wild taking it full-time...
...almost surprised that he hasn't gone odds-on after reading this.
-
If we're going to be turning over 'managers' on a regular basis then I'd rather they had nothing to do with identifying players. Just means you have squad made up of leftovers from a previous regime.
-
Good. Get it out in the open and provide more clarity as to who is responsible for what. Time will tell as to whether it proves to be a disastrous approach or not.
-
I had it in mind that with the timing of Bunn's removal, AL would have some sort of plan in place that would possibly feature a coach that he'd worked with previously in some capacity - even if it was on a short-term basis. I thought it was something he was angling for from the start.
If we're in a position of trying to persuade Clarke to take it (and knowing what he knows, I'd be surprised if he took it without a long list of assurances), then its' difficult to give it a positive spin.

Might there be a chance he hasn’t indicated in training that he can dominate adult centre halves in the same way that can cat 3 u18s. Throwing someone in to fail isn’t a youth development system.
