The youngster was approached before the squad headed out to Spain for a pre season training camp this week, but requested more time to make up his mind. Oldham were also vying for his signature, but MEN Sport understands the youngster has expressed a preference for Dale and is poised to sign when Eyre and his team return from Spain.
