    Yesterday was crap no doubts, and as Rummy has said, a missed opportunity to get some of the stayaways to return, and we are hearing the same thing week in week out from Shez, no doubt he is in for a bollocking from TTA.

     

    Yesterday I think the team played like we had a god given right to beat Leyton Orient. And we had the same problem in the stands with some of our fans.

     

    Some fans need to wake up, smell the coffee and realise we are not a big club, even at this level. Yes eardley may make the odd stray pass, yes we may have had little creativity yesterday, but without meaning to sound disrespectful to our players, thats why we are in League 1. If every pass was inch perfect, they would be premier league players.

     

    However, we are still 6th for one. Apart from maybe stockport, we have a much smaller budget than the rest of the chasing pack such as Millwall, Leeds, Scunny, MK Dons, Peterboro, and even some of the teams further down like Huddersfield and Southend.

     

    For me, unless we lose ground dramatically from the chasing pack, I would like to see Shez be given untill the end of the season at the very least, if not the duration of his contract

    What an opportunity missed.

     

    In fact there were more opportunities missed yesterday than the average home game. Not only did most of the teams around us drop points again, but the 1000 or so "extra" fans who bothered to turn up on a reduced price ticket may very well not bother again, going off that lacklustre display from Shez and the boys.

     

    The directive yesterday from Mr.Corney - his shift brief if you will - must have been along the lines of - "There are some new/returning customers out there - we must win this game - we must give them incentive to return." The men at the top are trying to get people in the ground, and for that I take my hat off - but in today's market, this message has to reinforced with a decent playing product.

     

    I hope Shez got a bollocking for not coming up with the goods....

    Sorry what position was Shezza yesterday? Didnt actually notice HIM on the pitch! Right let me just put me ha'pnny across. I was gutted walking out yesterday, it felt like we had got beat 4-0 not drew 1-1. Then I had time to reflect. Orient are a bit of a bogey side, 2 points clear of the dreaded relegation zone. Twas never going to be an easy game. They played a very effective 4-5-1 with first priority to stop us playig through em - it worked. The threat on the break was clearly evident for all to see. They were well drilled well organised and gave everything 110% effort. BUT - we are the mighty Oldham and must surely sweep past everyone who gets in the way - helloooo! Wake up people - anyone who turns up every week expecting 4-0 victories against everyone at home is clearly dillusional. We didnt play well but having a dig at shezza and now thinking that a victory would ensure another 1000 every week - get real peeps!

    Laticnik must be gutted - we got a brilliant away point today so we wont all be asking for shezza to be ousted - beggars belief really - sounds like a biased referee again - good job I werent there think i would have physically exploded - well done boys, another point on the board - need to make BP a fortress and we've cracked it! :headbang::bblue2:

    Just my opinion Leez. I think hes poor, scared of the ball and never overlaps- something with Liddell infront of you, you have to do. Our right hand side is a concern for me when we're trying to break it slows us right down. But yea people must be watching different games as Sheridan has come out and praised him. All about opinions init.

    Too right matey couldnt agree more re: different opinions.

     

    At least I wont call you a retard for disagreeing with me :grin:

    One thing Moore got right releasing him. Simply not good enough!

    We really do watch 2 different matches every week - I personally think Kel is coming on leaps and bounds, growing in confidence and becoming a more than worthy member of our starting xi - as for that tosser Moore, dont get me started on that asswipe!
