Nah, portsmouth on a monthly contract.....
-
Oafcprozac ;)
-
he's a lot better looking ;)Paul Gerrard, please step-up to the plate.
-
We don't need a director of football (whatever the hell that is at league one level) i think we need a new coach with fresh ideas,a different voice not just 'one of the boys' maybe the players have just heard what dux/taggart have to say too many times and are obviously not responding.
-
. Two points clear.....However still five points clear of relegation so no doubt another silent vote of confidence. How many points clear will we be after Tuesday?
-
I remember a tuesday game vs barnsley called off - before message boards etc
-
How about...paul butler (runs for cover). He could protect the back four with his clipboard thats on the assumption that someone hasn't stuck it up his arse!
-
How many people/voices do we need on a bench? If everyone sat on ours we would have 6 people including the physio! We would have to get a longet bench - think of the budget!!;)
-
Maybe to gain a slightly different perspective of the game ?
-
Paul gerrard sits with the subs on the bench every home game....he hasn't disapeared anywhere.
-
Big sigh...

If they play like today does it matter? Half of the games ive seen derbyshire play his talent and strengths have been consistantly wasted.
Fkin long ball :censored:e or isolated with 2 or 3 defenders or just no support or service.
The second half vs doncaster at home where we played TO his strengths showed what we will miss but as i said - play like today and the best striker in the world would struggle.
-
-
Yes we beat hartlepool and shrewsbury ugly and colchester in freefall, doncaster reserves? - nah dont agree they only had a couple of players missing - lets give credit where its due.... Last season we lost a bunch of home games to ' poor' teams like orient and others i cant remember...at least we have won these games this time! Usually colchester away is a defeat regardless of form- we look to be finally growing a pair.......
-
Why worry- he only passes sideways and backwards anyway!;) up until the game on sat there was a 'feeling' he was too negative and defensive - a decent positive performance and all of a sudden he will be missed!
-
it's not that bad robbie! (typo under heading)http://www.oldhamath...o.uk/index.aspx

They need to sort the discipline out quickly - surely it won't be long before the club starts getting fined...
-
Just baxter for smith then!

And here you have it. This is where the Premiership and The FA got it so wrong in the early nineties.
They took Sky's money, helped by the fact that people like me paid for it. They then shoved it straight in to the pockets of agents, foreign footballers and semi-talented Brits who promptly built ugly modern mansions and increased trade at the local brothel with it - while at the same time avoiding tax on a large chunk of the obscene wage.
Back in the day it was worth a top division footballer halving his money and stepping down a league or two to top up his pension and wind down his playing career. These days they're wealthy enough by the age of 20 to never need to work again.
You see Manchester United able to double the capacity of an already fine stadium. Manchester City able to build a new facility far better than they ever had before. Stockport sell their souls to the evil egg chasers and drop out of the league. Latics disappear temporarily to be reborn with owners who knock things down to save annual costs that Wayne Rooney earns in 4 days.
Changing rooms knocked down in local parks that have drainage systems as effective as an ocean. School playing fields sold off for housing. New schools built by local authorities without any outdoor sporting facilities.
It's a complete :censored: up.
so true.....

It was as usual a game of two halves/ two team performances : 1st half wes bombed on furman sat more ,we pressed higher created a few good chances from wide positions BUT then after the horlicks : wes and furman both sat deep croft disappeared off the wing and drifted ,derbs and smith therfore isolated - we seemed to get very nervy very quickly and so we spent most if the half under a self imposed cosh..result lots of hoof..
-
It was good to see pd and gt standing and encouraging for most of the game - and a bit of a chuckle when gerry wanted to sit down but didnt want a wet arse so requested some towels to sit on! He got some banter for it!
-
On that back pass did anyone else think that our other goalie wouldn't have dealt with it as well?
(Pity Mrs Cisak aka aussiefan didn't see it). Agreed. Cisak is a good shot stopper but has lead in his boots when coming off the line.
-
My biggest gripes today were not stopping the crosses second half AND furman and his fkin blind backpass again...
-
Its three points
