Just been watching the footballers football show with coyle one of the guests...fk me this bloke could be in politics! He doesnt actually EVER give an opinion - just repeats the question and waffles on and on - i know at times dickov tends to toe this particular line but thank god he' s not as bad.
-
Westley for me - always seems a complete arse...
-
he could argue with himself!Aaah...time for a change......lets go 3-5-2
Byrne, Tarky, Mvoto
Wabara, Furman, Baxter, Wes, Mellor
Smiffy, Derbyshire
And put Simpson in charge of drinks..........he's no one to argue with in that job.

i know saturday was bad but i reckon that side would get ripped a new one!I think he's tried, while others have been accused of not doing so. I don't get why everyone think's Croft's so indispensable - he's got great control and everyone loves a good step over, but he only crosses from set pieces and hasn't even had a shot that I can remember this season, let alone come close to scoring. If it was possible, I'd stick as many fringe players in tomorrow to reinforce the message that Saturday's performance was not acceptable:
Bouzanis
Winchester - Byrne - Tarky - Mellor
Sutherland - Baxter - Wes - Montano
Smith - Derbyshire

I agree but with furman, wes, simpson, mchangama and baxter available is winchester really a realistic option?
-
Does anybody on here seriously consider him as a contender to play in midfield? Apart from that screamer he scored vs the mkdons a couple of years ago i always find him consistantly yards off the pace of games he plays , which usually means being caught in possession and more pressure.
-
Now grounds is out on tues - who is the replacement? I reckon we just say fk it and go 3 at the back...
-
option 2 for me every time which is always followed by the cry of " no plan b"The talented loanees etc were great in their 1st few matches together but now are nowhere near as effective.
Why is this?i
Is it
1) Because the magic has been trained out of them.
2) Opposing teams have done their homework and now know how to deal with them.
3) Something else.

Tranmere missed two sitters first half and bouzanis made a point blank save . The best latics chance was the mchangama shot near the end.
-
Derbyshire couldnt wait to get off at the end - he looked well p***ed off.

Do we know why derbyshire went off?
-
Orient came to slooow the game down the keeper especially bordered on pi**taking until they went a goal down! Then they were all moaning to the ref about latics 'timewasting'
-
Nah it must be taggart's fault!
-
Find a spot somewhere behind the home bench - brews barneys and clipboards!

Don't want to be pedantic. But the yeovil guy is terry skiverton not tony.
-
I would feel more comfortable with mchangama - winchester EEK! Mellor surely isnt fit enough? If we have to start playing the kids again i'd be concerned.
-
It was only about a week ago that there were threads on here about dropping furman! "Him and wes are too negative - too similar" it is now obviously the way they were being set up to play rather than being poor players - what a difference a couple of cracking performances makes eh?

Just watched martin maddog allen on the footballers football show and he ugo watshisface and simon jordan were discussing managers and allen described the typical scenario of how a manager would be under pressure: "if you dont recruit well you won't win games - if you dont win games the crowd get going - social media get going , local newspapers get going and you are on a very sticky wicket to go - thats how it works". Sound familier? IuI usually find him a bit of a dick but i quite enjoyed watching his perspective.

Eric cantona?

Did anyone else notice paul butler showing matt smith that damn clipboard with formations and whos marking who as he was about to come on in the 90th miniute 1-0 down - surely the instructon should be 'get in the fkin box and put yourself about' i wish he'd stick that fkin clipboard up his arse!!
-
I suspect that he' trying to add a bit of "passion" to procedings! i assume that Its part of his job description as pa announcer.
-
I didn't see what happened but part way through the 2nd half mvoto had some sort of meltdown - i could see byrne telling him to get his :censored: together.
