Any new stand news or Baxter news?

If building starts in spring, how soon could it be complete and ready for action? Would the start of 2013/2014 season be a bit optimistic?

I didn't think he had it in him to get the players playing to their full potential, from all reports we were great v Crewe and today was the best I've seen us play for a long, long time. For the first time in ages I came away from bp feeling good, and although we have a long way to go before we forget the crap we've seen from pd's team for over a year, I have regained some confidence that maybe he CAN take us forward.

I can't see us keeping Derbyshire, he is used to earning to much money, but really hope we get Baxter on a good contract.

Not saying they can't play together, but dickov says Furman is supposed to play further forward when they are together, which they don't, so either PD is lying or Furman decides he can do whatever he wants regardless of what his manager says, if this its the case then he needs to do as he's told or he gets dropped.

Although he's under immense pressure right now, I just cannot see him disbanding his beloved holding midfield 2 of Wes and Furman, this is the key to the whole teams failures IMO.

Anyone think gregan would make a good manager? Agreed he is a rookie but nobody would argue he's as tough as a brick :censored:house and wouldn't let the players take the piss/ disobey orders etc. could be a cheaper alternative to dowie but in the same " no nonsense" mould.

so what the hell happens to this plan on matchdays? Furman is always just in front of the back four with Wes along side him. If its a case of Furman not doing as he's told then drop him until he can follow orders.

I think cov will come good especially considering the amount of quality in their squad. Just a question of how long it takes robins to get them playing. Please let it be after we play them.

Exactly could be said of our squad, plenty of quality, just needs someone to get us playing. Would love it if it was PD but sorry to say I just can't see it.

Wonder what this Weeks excuse will be? Will it be an old favourite or will he find another reason for another defeat.

So he dropped Smith, fkin unbelievable.

Going off the last 2 games, if he drops Smith instead of Simpson then that would suck big time, will just go to prove he'll play his favourites no matter what. Man up PD, do the right thing and if you are gonna drop one, make sure its the player out of form.

I was only asking because of the injury record, not because of his performances.

I'm sure I read somewhere we are paying a fee for his services, it that's the case, and he spends most of the loan period out injured, then its a disastrous bit of business.

Does he have to stay with us for the full 6 months even though he's injured? It would be crazy if we paid Blackburn for 6 months and he never plays

Seems like its a "no" for Sheridan coming back, now if there was a poll on Ian dowie I think that would be a different outcome.

I thought PD didn't rate young Mellor, I wonder who's idea it was to turn down "good" money.

I'm hoping for a win, but most of all I'm hoping that pd has learned a few lessons. If Simpson starts as the lone striker on Saturday, and we lose, then I think there will be an uproar, hopefully pd will have realised by now this doesn't work.
