As you say I don't think there's enough space at BP now that the houses have been built.
I've read somewhere he has already met with Oldham Council. It would be a bit of a shock if they have suddenly earmarked somewhere for development after TTA's catalogue of failed attempts over the last 10 years!
Koukash in the M.E.N...
I would like to reach a deal with both clubs and then look at building what would be a sporting destination in Oldham with a new stadium, revealed Koukash.
This would not only be a focal point for rugby league and football but it could also house other sports such as basketball and netball.
There is the new swimming baths that's going to be built on the site of aldi the doctors and sainsburys that must be enough land to accommodate it all

Corney for me. As has been said before, we know sweet FA about Koukash's intentions. With his rebuilding at Salford, who's to say he won't ship us out of Oldham altogether and merge the two somewhere else, even if not in Salford. We're already too close to one big club, so a move anywhere nearer to Manchester would kill us off.
Koukash, according to the article in the Rarely Wrong, still wants the club but has never expressed his intentions as to what he would do once he gets hold of it. He can give all the guarantees he wants, but that doesn't mean that he'll keep to them. Businessmen aren't always 100% up front about their future plans.
Yes, Koukash has the dosh that would secure a good future for the club, if used correctly, but look at other clubs with heavy investment in recent times; Blackburn Rovers and Coventry City to name but a couple. Do we want to risk ending up like that?
No, stick with Uncle Simon. He makes some mistakes, who doesnt? But he has the club at heart or he would have flogged us off to Hiram N Rippemoff Inc, or whoever else wanted to chuck a couple of quid at it before now. Vaughan? It could have happened if SC hadn't stuck to his word about selling to right people.
Sorry, Mr Koukash, but unless there's some cast iron guarantees written in blood and sanctioned by the Queen, I'll stay as we are, thanks, until someone meets the right criteria.
pretty sure else where its been stated its now against the rules of the FA that if you move a team out of its town you have 5 years to move it back or be kicked out of the league ?

voted koukash simply because im not quite old enough to have seen the big days of the prem or championship and getting sick and bored of the same old :censored:e league one football

I can take or leave the buffet and Motown isn't my cup of tea, but I would like to chat with the manager and players. £15 a ticket during the close season shouldn't be a problem for most fans.
I just can't understand why it's in Ashton and on a school night when it's clearly geared towards being a 'proper' night out.
schools finish this coming friday

Sounds odd. What did he sign then? A contract that he'd written himself?
Whilst the deal hadn't been finalised, Swindon will probably struggle to come out of this one without an undisclosed settlement figure to pay.
from the way i understand it both sides sign the contract that swindon draw up but swindon havent signed it
-
From what ive just read, Swindon never signed the contract so from Swindon's point of view he is a free agent
-
oops ...Double post
your first post is blank lol
-
not at all fussed he's gone
-
did it to make a point with the RFL if i remember right
-
also if he has a signed contract then Swindon really don't have a leg to stand on
-
im confident he'll get everything sorted. never been this excited for a new season
