you could always get all the fans who had tickets but didnt get in to put in a class action against bury fc ? that way the legal costs would be minimal per person ?

I don't think that a print out of a webpage would be much use if there were no assets. If bury still own the gigg land site then I'd bet the investments will be secured against that.

Edit: If they go out of business before the end of the season does that mean 1 more club get relegated?

I'm all for giving Mellor a chance but unless his fitness has drastically improved since playing against Coventry then I'd put him in a position that doesn't rely on his ability to get around the pitch.
