  1. I like the guy from what we have seen so far. People are very quick to criticise without knowing the full facts, time will tell. He's given more statements in the last 6 months than corney did in the previous 5 years. Also you can tell he's at least thinking about the fans with the Royle, Frizzell, boundary park namings. IMO it's more likely that in 7 years time we'll be in the championship with Abdallah as opposed to the corney era I never felt we were anywhere near progressing and there was never any chance of doing so. This guy may make rash decisions from time to time but I think he'll have more ambition to take us up through the leagues than Corney had.

  2. We just can't start a striker on his own up front who has scored 8 goals in his last 126 appearances when we are playing at HOME against a team who have been tonked in recent weeks and were there for the taking.... Really is as simple as that. I know some people think COG brings more to the team than goals, but he just isn't mobile and there has to be better options even at semi pro level in the area, 8 goals in 126 games, Jesus fucking Christ. Very very frustrating. There's absolutely no point playing o'grady unless you're gonna stick him alongside someone like Surridge.

4000 fans paying 20 per week for 52 weeks.  As I said, naive.  Have you seen the bitching that goes on about season ticket prices here... which actually work out at less than half this amount spread over a calendar year!

It wouldnt happen and its its not enough anyway.

Our 4000 fans that can just about be arsed turning up every OTHER week during the season includes a hell of a lot of kids and pensioners.

    This thread is ludicrous.

True, but I'd suggest there would be a couple of hundred who would be willing to put in considerably more than 20 quid a week
