I reckon that SC is delaying any decision to see if PD can bring in Derbyshire or somebody similar.

 

One thing PD is good at is being able to persuade players to come.

If SC gets rid now then we probably wouldn't have a manager in charge quick enough to bring anybody in before the deadline.

 

I reckon PD will bring a forward in and then SC will give him the next 2 games after Liverpool to turn things around.

IF not then it's goodbye and thanks PD.

Dickov said last night that he isn't aloud to bring in any new players so it looks like the fa cup money has gone into a black hole.

It has to be Dowie - knows the club, knows TP, will knock team into shape and would likely return for a realistic salary and probably for remainder of season...plus he would have something to prove. Time heals and him and Corney should shake and allow us to have a realistic chance of avoiding relegation and repaying the fans who've paid to attend so far this season

Video went up on Latics player today, showing snow being cleared off the pitch with the help of vehicles lent by local companies. Gordon said the Pitch Dome will arrive today or tomorrow which means the pitch won't be a problem, surrounding areas could be though if snow continues.

The snow won't move itself from the approaches to the ground and surrounding areas. Shovel. Boundary Park. Elbow grease. Get to it.
