  1. http://www.spendandraise.com/xtra/offers/

Why is this not really pushed by the club and the Trust....I only found out about it last week, bought 3 items and the trust now has 20 odd quid in the bank!

    Newport town have raised 12k

    Aldershot have raised 7.5k

    Oldham 3k

This could be huge but I do not believe fans know about it or been told the benefits or the shops/websites that are on the site. Even casual Oldham fans who dont go could use it and help make the club 20k a year easy!

Just worked out last month I would have made the trust 250 quid (sorry no pound signs on a Libya keyboard)

Would the Chronicle do an article on it?? MEN??? Club put it on the website every week rather than crap about the new HR girl...or safety officer signing his new deal!!

This could get us the striker we want!!

    Tell your friends!

  2. Whilst I'm not ruling it out, I'd be surprised if he went to Donny. All the noises I heard last year from people very close to him were that he was at his unhappiest whilst Dickov was at the club...

However, Donny have offered him a deal..

You dont like your current boss, he leaves and joins the competitor, he calls you up and offers to double your salary, would you put up with him?????

  3. You keep chopping at a tree Jamie then it will fall.

We offered deals to Croft, Smith and JYM and all have or are likely to have walked. Byrne could be going too and I expect Wes to push for a move as I've heard LJ doesn't fancy him.

I'd still like to see an experienced CB, Midfielder and Striker arrive. Enthusiastic kids are all well and good and I trust LJ to bring the right type of quality in but when you are knee deep in the muck and bullets of a relegation battle sometimes experience is vital and whilst Dayton & Sid excite me, neither's appearance records are exceptional suggesting there's a fair few injuries in there - especially Sid, moving at that speed at a Baltic BP will ping his hamstrings in no time.

I agree the division will be stronger and Wolves will walk it - Jackett knows this division well….

    So…..

    New GK

    Loanee RB

    Tarky

    Loanee CB

    Grounds

    Sid

    Mellor

    Experienced CM

    Dayton

    Baxter

    JCH

    Subs:

    Simpson

    Glenn

    Millar

    Winchester

    Gossett

    Cooper

    That's where i'm at

Or it could be a ruse, 'look how :censored: our budget is', 'We HAVE to sell JB to allow us to be competitive….'

BUT ages to go yet, still 7 1/2 weeks to go until kick off and nearly 12 weeks until the deadline, so not panicking just yet. I just want to get to September 1st with JB in the team….

Brown doesnt even make your bench........

  4. This lad has joined the club and people are writing him off on his first day on the basis of a youtube clib from 2011......Are you :censored:ing kidding me!!

How many games did Wayne Andrews win for us, not because he was technically good, but because he was rapid and either had players sent off or terrified to go near him......

Good luck lad....Well come to OAFC

Ps a little disappointed with the lack of build up from our marketing department.....
    :shakeit:
  5. If I was a bank manager and refused to loan a businessman a few thousand quid when he was about to earn a couple of hundred thousand in a couple of weeks. I'd be a bit worried for my job if it ever became public, it is essentially free money from the interest, over a period with a lot of holiday time. No sensible bank is going to refuse that.

We are not in the 1950's and Bank Managers do not have the option to lend money, business's have to meet a certain criteria within a computer system....simple approved or rejected

Rarely football clubs DO NOT meet this criteria

  6. Do you have evidence to back this statement up or is it mere anecdotal? As I have anecdotal evidence of the opposite.

Quite simply the best solution is to ask them. Think that may have been the problem last year with Rui Marquez (or whatever his name was), the people negotiating assumed they were talking gross and they weren't. As assumption is the mother of all :censored: ups, it proved to be a silly error.

I work in the Oil and Gas industry and fully aware of taxation across europe and africa, so i am speaking from someone who knows...

  7. We had the option on Cisak, therefore we will have had to either sign the deal agreed 2 years ago or buy himself out of the contract

He will NOT be on reduced terms, it will have been whatever terms were previously agreed. They wouldnt have the right to say your now on minimum wage because we have the option, or your now number 2 so your on 250 a week...etc all preagreed

I think the club has done this to gain a fee because he has made it clear he doesnt want to stay....

  8. No mate, there were sponsors just there for the occasion and tbf I was quite taken aback by just how many were for the occasion, amazing what the cameras do for certain companies! They couldn't take advertisements down quick enough!

Isnt that the point??? Do you think OAFC didnt take advantage and hike up the prices for sponsorship???? They did it for ticket prices...I do not care who sponsors the clubs, I dont care if they do it for 1 game or 50 as long as they do.....why would you tell anyone will to put money into our club to :censored: OFF whether its for 1 game or not we should just be grateful they are.......

Some peoples thoughts on business is scary......OAFC took advantage of every customer that was interested in the Everton and Liverpool game, whether that was a fan or a company, they had a situation and I believe to the benefit of the club next season they took advantage!!

    IDIOT

  9. Just pissed off with everyone saying this wont happen, the fa wont let it and that he is banned!!

Would he be wasting his time if he couldnt get this over the line???

Would SC waste his time if he couldnt get this over the line???

Yes this guy is a total crook but so is SC...He will sell the club but keep the land and the ground and rent it all back

When we met LJ, SC promised he wouldnt leave until stand is finished....he is a lying scum bag and the quicker people realise he doesnt give a toss about this club the better, he came in for the land and it went badly wrong but every penny he and the other 2 have put in is on a directors loan.

The club has been up for sale for 5 years and from my sources no one has come close.........this guy will get it.....Or there is 1 alternative......

    WE BUY IT

  10. Les Kerr, who is related to a mate of mine, is NOT on the banned list of company directors, unlike Stephen Vaughan. It is being on the banned list of company directors that prevents Stephen Vaughan from taking a role in running any business. I'm fairly certain Stephen Vaughan did not get put on the banned list of company directors for being in charge of companies that went bust, he was allegedly involved in a VAT scam and was put on the list for that reason.

I never said he was banned, im just saying that he has liquidated a fair few business's!!

  11. Granted, but the ban includes him not being able to run the club from behind the scenes. Does the head of the purchasing consortium sound like he wont want to influence the decision making?

Are you for real????? How many companies go bankrupt in the UK everyday and they are open under their wifes name the next.....

Do some research on our great sponsor Zen Office....Les has been shut down about 15 times
