Didn't go tonight but for me Harkins has been fairly anonymous since the Crewe game..
-
So you want 11 cloggers then?
Yes, that's exactly what I said.
-
Let's not forget, by a pure stroke of luck Notts County need 1pt to be sure of avoiding relegation.
This fact alone is putting over HALF A MILLION POUNDS in 'our' clubs coffers.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH I SAY
Good luck to them but let's hope our lads turn up to make it a cracking game, great atmosphere and 3pts to the blues.
The max we'll get is 80k off them and that's before factoring in concessions...
-
That's not my point, you need 'cloggers' in your team, there's a lot more to being a footballer than technical ability. So, in some way, does your logic then preclude us from trying to keep 1?
-
We cannot afford 11 technically gifted players...And that attitude sums up exactly why we have had 18 years in the 3rd division!
-
Top 10 finish and more attacking intent at home.
-
Very northern league next year. Anybody bar Southend would be nice in the play-offs!
-
Who's said anything about £200k?
Seven figures over five years.
-
New about the deal a view years ago this will really benefit us And make us compete at this level
I was told that they were taking over the club shop and would be manufacturing our kits.
-

The stand holds 2,000 with a 1,700 overspill, please can we stop 'worrying' about every away game within a two hour radius. Bury will not happen again.Queuing up at the Carlisle ticket office with prepaid vouchers to be exchanged for match tickets sounds like a recipe for disaster. It is highly likely you will be in the same queue as those wanting to pay on the day for a ticket.
I am beginning to feel uneasy.
There should be some word from the club on this issue - even if it is only to clarify how many Latics fans Carlisle have accommodated for.
-
I've trawled through six pages now and apologies if I missed it but what else is going on?
Are we changing kit manufacturer? Presumably so from all the kits being changed... Could just be changing sponsor again though for all we know.
Is the club shop closing down? We don't know, OAFC_Ryan knows something from the grapevine but won't spill.
Please clarify...?
I'm not the only one, others have hinted at what's going on. I don't want to cause a meltdown over nothing till it's confirmed.
-
It's pay on the day, isn't it? I can see another healthy following here, 800+!
-
Initial batch of tickets sold out.
Next lot on sale Friday.
Where'd you hear that?
-
Just like everyone on here who has 'sources' I was just told by a fellow fan in confidence, it could be complete rubbish and don't want to cause WW3 over nothing.....
-
I don't think some will like what I've heard, you've just got to remember it's to maximise profits for the club.
-
Well, my source told me.........
-
Interesting, surely this would limit merchandise sales to online only (for a while, anyway).
-
But giving us the small section increases the police bill, taking money out of the budget elsewhere. I'd rather keep a player or two than have to pay the cops more so the RRE is open for home fans.
Incidentally an increased police bill might stop the "traditional" end of season pitch invasion, so that might be beneficial.
My point was the only time the club will need to move fans is for the visit of Notts (and that's if they need a result) there's no way Sheffield United will bring more than the small section and Coventry were never going to, either.
-
Why is the RRE £20 cheaper for a ST, if it's the best stand?
What's wrong with what I said? I think County will bring more than the small section if they need a result to stay up.
-
Coventry could have brought a lot more if their form hadn't tailed off.
Sheffield United is one of their closest games, they get 17,000 at home. I'd be disappointed if they brought less than 1000 minimum. They brought 2500 last year.
They were either first or second then, a cold Tuesday night with nothing to play for will see 1,000 maximum.
-
Notts County are the only team that'll need the lot (providing they need a result to stay up) Coventry were never going to bring more than 1,600 and Sheffield United won't, either. If Notts County go down to the wire, which it could easily do given their form and Latics had to turn away just the 1501st Notts County fan because the RRE lot can't be bothered moving then there is an issue.

We're going on the Official coach, £20.
Sidenote, never been on the coach (apart from Liverpool) where do they leave from, Sheepfoot Lane or the Car Park?
Sheepfoot Lane.
Top half finish?

It's gone but the very fact that this is being discussed shows the progress.
