Maybe he's sick of applying for other jobs and knows he'll be first team manager by Christmas.

The 2 teams I've seen in Spain - Mallorca and Malaga - are 4th and 5th in the Segunda and Cadiz - who are probably the Spanish team I have the biggest soft spot for - are 6th.
Would love to see Cadiz in La Liga.
Mainly because of this bloke. He's God round there - never seen hero worship like it...
Wow - what a player- similar movements to Maradona

Never ask an owtb member their age.
They are full of stories about glory years and Alan Young. Do it at your peril

I’m a bit confused why it won’t work for me now!
Did you pay via a UK address? That cocked mine up last time. You need to put a foreign address. Weird I know

Personally don't want him.

Pete’s a sound lad. I actually did my FA level 1 with him at Hopwood Hall around 5 years ago. I ended up coaching at Boundary Park....juniors haha. Good luck to him needs as much help as he can muster.

Well it's one of the two most important fixtures of the season for me. My brother and I will be flying up for it and I hope I'll have the bragging rights at the end.
We'll probably go into it as favourites given the recent form of both teams, but I don't underestimate them. They are a more direct team than when Tisdale managed them but they have talented players and it was no fluke that they were at the top of the league earlier in the season.
If they go with two up front then Stockley (decent target man and excellent finisher) and Forte (we know all about his pace) will be a very dangerous front two who work well together, but I think they'll be vulnerable at the back going 4-4-2 and missing key players like Boateng in midfield, so I think they'll go 4-1-4-1 with Tillson sitting in front of the defence, Stockley on his own and they'll try to dominate the midfield.
Nicky Law is their most talented player and was a class above earlier in the season but has gone off the boil a bit since, Jake Taylor is an all-action midfielder and could easily play at a higher level and in Lee Holmes and Lee Martin they have two tricky wide players.
Defensively they're OK but if Aaron Martin isn't fit then they'll be vulnerable.
I'm really looking forward to seeing a settled and in form Latics side for a change! I think the XI pretty much picks itself after the Bury game, although I'd have no problem if Dummigan comes back in for Hamer. Andy Taylor has struck me as being a solid if unspectacular left back at this level, so if he's playing second fiddle to Rob Hunt then it shows we're in a good place!
If Missilou is playing as well as people say then he could be the key to us controlling the midfield an winning the match. Would be brilliant to go into Christmas in the Top 7 after all the turbulence earlier in the season!
Nicky Law - surprised he dropped a level. Shame we never went in for him. Very good player..Good scouting report by the way, you handed your dossier over to Frankie?

Is your ST linked to your Ticketmaster account? Mine isn't as I've never bought them online so I can't buy away tickets during the ST only sales.
Wasn't aware of that - I've bought a fair few away tickets during ST holder only period. I'll try to call through. Ta

I thought I had already posted this, but apparently not. He's done for 4-6 months with Acl tear and lateral damage and meniscus (whatever that means). If he needs an op, which they'll decide when the swelling goes down, it'll be closer to 8/9 months...
Nasty one that - might get away without the op if the ACL hasn't gone full. Meniscus on it's own is a few months too. Cartilage injury in old school speak. Good luck to him. How did he actually do it , studs stick in the turf?

Have they actually just made that link between us both being called Athletic? Utter crap

To be fair I’ve done my ankle ligaments twice. Both times the consultant said breaking it would have been less painful / easier fix. Not sure if he was trying to make me feel better....

Dear Jack,
I have come to the conclusion that you have a career path to choose, it's quite simple.
1 - Professional footballer.
2 - Professional bell-end.
Please respond within the next seven days.
Yours Faithfully

He’s a lower league footballer, does he think anyone gives a shit about his side of the story? What a self appreciating prick he is. Working on the punchbag...for how long 5 minutes a day FFS.

He had a dip in form around age 16 when released but before that stood out in that United side alongside Charlie Savage and Will Fish, was there for 8 years. I know the lad well through Crompton House he’s keen to get back into pro football. Strong physically now too. Cheers for looking.
