IMO no. I felt that in the first half before we equalised we missed wes' ability to break up play and to win almost everything.

But for sheer drama and for once getting what we deserved that is probably THE moment for me. We'd had our moments of disbelief in 7 minutes at Forest, Liverpool was a Fairytale and then to have the cheek to eek out another chapter was wonderful. Of course we loved every minute of last year's cup run. The best moment was seeing the faces of the under 25s that know so little of how great our little team once was.

 

That was the cup run for me.

 

 

Thats me - although I have had the pain of watching the 94 semi final.As its the only (proper) cup run we've had in my lifetime Ive still got all 3 televised games still on the sky+ and watch them when im bored. When Smith rises up above the everton defence I still get shivers. I'll still maintain that if we started smudge in the replay we might have given them an even better game of it

With paying the wages of the 10 million staff around the world, mantaining phone and internet lines plus now £900 for the rights it just looks to me that before they even show a champions league match it will be another ITV digital and our phone and broadband bills going through the roof.

I think liability is harsh. Yes he was prone to laps in concentration but he was better than average.

LJ is improving players. His starting point for that improvement is actually acknowledging them and speaking to them; and making the younger fringe players feel a part of the group - and having faith to play them.

That's another reason. I'd rather watch crap that we've developed, products from our own youth academy, rather than premier league youth players that don't care about the club. LJ has realised, finally that Mellor, Millar and CW have potential and is final given them the chance that yet have deserved for at least 2 seasons. LJ is developing them even more and all three will be good players

true,i just think it was a bit of false hope at the first few games of the season,we should be well used to looking up the table at everyone else by now,i just think LJ has lost his way a bit this last month,maybe a older head needed with him i dont no,just a opinion!!

An experienced number 2 next to him would be ideal ie like Dickov has Donny, someone for him to sound ideas off.

Any sain latics fan (if there is such a thing) will see that the last thing we should do is sack him but I do agree that he needs to figure out his strongest 11 and keep to it as close as he can only making changes for injuries and suspensions.
